Seema was decidedly unhappy. Still bleeding quite badly, she had dragged herself to shore, and sat beneath the trees, tending to her wounds. "Stupid, vicious, childish little cow. Needs to learn how to control herself, before she gets what's coming to her ..." she muttered under her breath.

Koatia's ears pricked up. He could hear mutterings. He couldn't tell what exactly they were saying, but he could always find out. Carefully, he made his way through the forest to where the sound was coming from. On the shore, he saw a white vixen. He crept forward, and in a low and quiet voice, he said, "What's a lovely vixen doing here, muttering profanities to herself?"

She jumped to her feet defensively, heckles raised. She growled, watching Koatia cautiously. "I could just as easily ask what you're doing here, Kotia" she didnt move towards him, but she didn't move away either. She was curious. "They tell me you're evil. Then again, they tell me a lot of things"

Koatia couldn't help but hide a grin. "That's the attitude I like in a female," he said approvingly. He looked her up and down, slowly and deliberately. "How would you like to see what living with no restrictions is really like, hmm?"

"I'll always have restrictions" she said coldly "In the form of my stupid, naive, pregnant little sister and her pathetic excuse for a mate" she looked angry. The scratches on her stomach began to bleed again, "For crying out loud" she muttered under her breath "For a kid she's got bloomin sharp claws"

"Allow me," he said, when she started bleeding. Glad to be using some magic, he casually healed her with a glow of eletric blue energy. He smiled at her, "Better?" It felt good to be able to use his powers again. Silently, he cursed the dark wolf who had summoned those chain-shadows. It had only been luck that he had met Nat...

"Yeah" she said cautiously, still suspicious of Koatia. "What do you want from me? Cos you clearly want something, nobody is this nice to me unless they want something" she backed away a little.

"I am merely offering you a life with no limits," he said. Then something registered in his mind. "You say your 'pathetic sister' is pregnant, no? Well, I can help you perform revenge on her, if you so wish."

"I'll handle that one myself, thanks" she said coldly "Cubs aren't exactly difficult to dispatch, as it were. It's more her friggin mate, Seirei, that I'm worried about. I'm not handling that one, I pick my battles."

"Seirei?" he asked, a little surprised. "I remember him. I could have been able to take him, if Hiruko and Mira had not been there..." He growled a little as he remembered that humiliating day when he tried to get at Hiruko.

"Yeah, well I just don't like him near my sister" she snarled. "She's just a kid - she doesn't know what she wants, I do!"

"Of course you do," said Koatia, attempting to be comforting. "You were just looking out for her, weren't you? I know that, and you know that. Maybe the others just don't understand what you were trying to do for her."

"You got that right" she snarled "They banished me, cos i supposedly "threatened the cubs"" she rolled her eyes "What makes the so-called founders so great anyway?"

"You're asking the wrong wolf," he said. "I am at odds with Hiruko, their little 'leader'," he snarled. He shook his head. "What's your name, anyway?"

"Seema" she said, suddenly remembering to be cautious again "I'm still not sure I trust you. I saw you with Nat the other day, while I was on my way to my home planet. I'm not stupid, you know." she bared her teeth "I'm not as easily swung as Nat by smooth talking wolves, sadly for you"

"And yet, you have not told the rest of the 'Tribe'," he sneered the last word. "And I am glad you are not stupid, I have needed someone else intelligent to help me..."

She snarled "What makes you think I'll help you? No doubt the only interest you have in me is the fact that my sister is Seirei's mate, which you will somehow swing to your advantage. I'm not playing those sorts of games without a good reason" she backed away a little.

"What reason would be a good reason?" he asked slyly, stepping closer to Seema. "And if I do swing it to my advantage, would that really be so bad? There would be Tialka, limitless and free. Not like with these stupid Founders and their 'rules'." He sneered at the word 'Founders'.
