Curling up on the bed slightly cautiously, she found sleep came easily.

It was morning, and Koatia had already awoken. He wasn't in the cave, though, for he was out in the forest gathering the food for the day. Luckily, Tialka had attracted dumb wildlife, so he could kill and not think of the consequences. He had already found a healthy stag and defeated him with a quick surge of energy. He started dragging the carcass back to the cave.

Seema awoke slowly, and at first couldn't remember where she was. Soon it all came back to her, though.

He walked down the entrance, the carcass being dragged behind him, and he saw Seema was awake. He brightened the orb. "Morning Seema," he said roughly, dropping the dead stag near the area where he usually had a fire. Working quickly, the flames were soon dancing, filling the cave with warmth to fight the coldness of the morning.

"Morning" she said, seeing a change in Koatia today. The politeness was gone now - he had her on side, there was no need for manners, it seemed.

Using a knife, he hacked at the carcass. "Do you prefer your meat raw or cooked?" he asked, breaking a leg so he could get a better angle to cut it at. A few pieces he chucked into the fire, and grabbed them out quickly when they were done.

"As long as its edible i couldnt care less" she smiled.

"Here," he said, throwing a few of the cooked pieces in her direction, before eating some of the raw meat himself. "This stag should last a couple of days," he said, pushing it to the corner. "Is there anything you'll need?" he asked.

Seema shook her head. "I have nothing to need, I live off what I can find" she said simply. A high pitched scream carried throughout Tialka. Seema looked distant "Shes having another vision" she whispered

Koatia looked at her sharply. "Who is?" he asked, curious.

She looked up, cursing herself inwardly for letting that vital information slip. "Tersias" she whispered fearfully. "She sees deaths, injuries, never good things. Did you not hear her scream?" she looked Koatia in the eye "She saw my fathers death, the day before it happened. She told me, but I didn't believe her. But she was right"

Koatia shrugged. "Fair enough," was all he said. Standing up, he stretched. "Now, I've let you sleep on it, but do you want magic?"

She nodded "Yes"

He nodded. "Very well," he said, stretching his forepaws towards her. "Hold still, this may hurt." With a lot of effort, he granted Seema magic, a range of colours flowing from his paws over to her, wrapping Seema in a rainbow. A sweat broke out on his brow. After about thirty seconds (though it felt like thirty days), he stopped, the transfer complete. "Be warned, your magic may be difficult to control at first."

She clenched her fists and gritted her teeth, it was painful, but she didn't want to look weak.

Koatia looked at Seema. "Feel any different?" he asked, wondering if it had taken effect properly.

"Yes" she grunted "But in an excruciatingly painful way"

"Other than that, what feels different?" he asked. He was curious as to what her new powers were. After all, if she was to be working for him, he needed to know what she could do.
