Nat sat near the edge of the desert, the warm sand beneath her. She felt more at ease in this area. Almost as if she was back home. Then again, there weren't seven other dingoes having a laugh with her. Neither were there Generals and Commanders, ready to give an order at a moment's notice. She may have been at ease, but she was not home.

Kiba sat up in his watch tower, trying to watch for new people when he saw a dingo out in the sand. He teleported down, the shadows moving him quickly to the dingo. He stood in front of her a few feet away and he said, "Welcome to Tialka friend! I am sorry there aren't very many people here right now, but more people are coming, I am sure of it."

She jumped at the voice that materialised next to her. Immediately, she folded herself into a defensive position, fur bristled and teeth sharp. She was also growling.
"Who are you?" she demanded.

"Wow, would you settle down?" he unsheathed his katana and stabbed it into the sand in front of him. He then backed away. "A gesture of good faith. My name is Kiba kurokage. Nat is it? I just wanted to welcome you to Tialka and offer you a place to stay until you get a home of your own here."

She stood up from her crouching position, eying the wolf, Kiba, with narrowed eyes. "Yes, my name is Nat," she said. Her fur was still bristled, though she was no longer growling.
"As for homing issues, I shall be fine. I will find my own place, thank you."

"So aggressive, aren't you? Don't you have a less aggressive side or are you a soldier, trianed to be that way? Either way it doesn't matter to me, Even if you are self dependant you will need these." He tossed a few papers at her. "One is a map, the others are pictures of three people you should avoid if you wish to live in peace here. If you wish to speak with me or anyone else, our homes are located on the map. I hope to see you around then." He picked up his sword and turned, getting ready to leave.

"You don't have to be so dismissive, Kiba," said Mira, arriving opposite Nat. "Anyway, welcome to Tialka, blah blah blah. Any questions?"

"I wasn't being dismissive. I was letting her have her space and letting her have time to adjust."

She looked at the two of them oddly. She knew that whoever lived here, would be an eclectic group. Sighing, she looked down at the pictures.
One was of a tiger, similar to the one Mira was friends with. Another was a blue and black wold, while the last was a white version of Kiba. Nat looked up at Mira.
"Who are these guys?"

Mira nodded at Kiba absently, watching the dingo look at the pictures. "The tiger is Hayashi, Hiruko's brother," she said, a chill settling down her spine as she spoke his name. "The wolves are Koatia, and Shiro. Shiro is the white one, and is Kiba's twin."

Nat nodded slowly, glad that Mira was there. The snow leopard seemed to give off an air of relaxation, making others feel calmer.
"Right, if I see them, I'll fight them," she said. After all, she was a warrior. If she couldn't handle these three, she couldn't handle anything.

"As you can see, she looks like me, but white. So be careful where you go, and I would at least have second thoughts about turning my offer down. I have food and water and not to mention, I am a great cook."

"I'll be fine, thank you," she said forcefully to Kiba. She couldn't understand it. All the people she was meeting seemed so nice to her. Inwardly, she shrugged.
'Whatever,' she thought, 'they are who they are. Nothing I do will change that.'

"No one's forcing you to go, Nat," she said softly. "Though I recommend it. It is difficult finding water in the desert."

"Ok, if you need any help in setting up let me know, I am a pretty good arctitect. I finished Seirei's house and built my own."

"No thanks," she said, her voice smoothly gravelly. "I'm a dingo. I was meant to live in hotter climates than you two. I will find my own source of food and water."
With an air of irritated grace, she turned her back on the two of them, and made her way towards the centre of the desert, where she was sure she could see a small tree.

Kiba sighed. "She'll come around eventually, I just hope it will be sonner rather than later. I'll leave her to be for a while." he turned and left, there was nothing else to do here. She had taken the map after all, she would be fine.

Mira walked beside Kiba as they left. "She seems rather stubborn, but that would only be the shell, not the nut," she shrugged. "I think we should let her be. Visit her every now and then, make sure she's okay."
