Hayashi returned back to Koatia with the good news. "I managed to take down Hiruko," he said gleefully to Koatia, an enormous sly grin on his face.
Koatia stood up sharply. "You means he's dead? Just like that?" he said, sounding surprised.
"No, but I injured him," Hayashi replied. "He's weak, and the others will be particularly vulnerable. We should strike now while we have the chance. If we let them go any longer, they will gain new skills and powers."
"But my strength needs to restore still," Koatia said, shaking his head. "Unless you go back and finish things off?"
Hayashi's eyes widened. "That sounds like a good plan to me," he said, and without further ado, he ran off back into the forest in search of them all.

Mira, unaware of the evil lurking nearby, was swimming pleasantly in Lacina Lake. She was humming an old song her mother taught her, and she had a small, sad smile on her face as she remembered her parents. The sun was shining high above the clearing, and Mira's fur coat reflected the sun's rays onto the shore.

Shiro sat nearby when Hayashi left. She slipped down and walked forward to Koatia. She drew her blade and said, "You are not part of my game so you will work for me or die."
Kiba sat in a tree by the lake. It was his favorite place to come during the day. "I wonder what Shiro is doing?" He looked down and saw a shape darting through the woods. He teleported down to it and looked around.

Koatia stared at Shiro with interest. "Work for you?" he said laughing casually as if he had been told a funny joke. "And who might YOU be?"

She flashed quickly to his side, the blade poking his ribs right infront of his heart. "If you choose to live, you shall call me Shiro. Now make your choice, as I do not feel like wasting my turn on the likes of you." She pressed the blade in quickly drawing a little blood before she pulled it away.

"Mira!" she called over, "Hey!" she was on the banks of the lake.

Mira smiled over to Tersias, who was relaxing on the bank. "Hey there, Ters!"
Mira heard some noises nearby, and whipped her head round to face them. "Who's there?" she called out, expecting to see one of her friends. The person who came out, however, she did not expect. "You!" she growled, as the muscled body of Hayashi came from the brush. "Why are you here?" Her icy blue eyes narrowed, her teeth bared.

Tersias giggled "Who's your friend, Mira?" she was totally innocent.

kiba heard a disturbance from the nearby lake so he sprinted, blade drawn. He arrived and Hayashi stood near the lake, Mira and Tersias standing by the bank.

The blood dripped down Koatia's chest fur. The wound sealed in a blue mist as quickly as it had been cut. It was almost like he hadn't even felt the wound. He looked up and smiled at her slyfully. "Hmm...I see you are no stranger to blood," Koatia muttered. "However I think it would be unwise if I should be working for you. I think maybe you should be working for ME. Besides, you are more of a female warrior, as it were and I am the brains behind the outfit. I avoid the battles if I can help it and let my minions earn their skills. Like Hayashi for example. He has proven to be an excellent warrior and assistant. I can very much see you doing the same."
***** "It's nice to see you again, Mira," Hayashi smiled, sharp, pointed teeth exposed in the dim light. "I'm sure you've missed me, a lot."

"I'm afraid I haven't," she replied, teeth still bared. "Why, did you miss me?" Mira's growl was deep, coming straight from her chest.

Shiro laughed insanely. "Do you think that I can work for you? If you have a plan, you could inform me. I might leave you alone if it doesn't interfere with my own."
Kiba quickly appeared next to her. "I thought that a mutt like you would be back at his masters making sure that Shiro wasn't killing him."

"It looks like we are going to have to TRUST each other first," Koatia said, his eyes narrowing at her. He did not fear her in the slightest yet he could feel the aura of power that surrounded her.
Hayashi smiled a cunning grin and stepped forward to Mira. He noticed Tersias beside her and Kiba had soon joined in too. "I'm afraid I did miss that pretty little face of yours," he chuckled. "But I'm still trying to figure out if it would look better alive or dead." He drew out his claws and held them under Mira's neck, almost ignoring the other two. His face was so close to hers that every breath he took blew the fur on her forehead backwards slightly. "So what do you say Mira?" he whispered softly to her. "Be mine, forever? Or die a horrible, painful death."

She took her face away from his, but his claws trailed a little to harshly, leaving a little blood on her chin. "I'd rather die," she growled at him. She turned to her two friends, "Leave him, I'll do it myself," she whispered.
She looked back at Hayashi. "Actually, I'd rather go with Hiruko," she said. "He's much better looking than you, and his personality is a lot nicer, too."

Her statement offended Hayashi and he backed away slightly as if he had smelt something particularly nasty, his nose wrinkled in disgust. "How could you like a little RUNT like him?" he said disgusted. "He's much smaller than me and as far as I see it, he only beat me because the god's granted him powers. I would have beaten him single-handedly if he were mortal." Hayashi couldn't quite figure out what Hiruko had that Hayashi didn't have. "Be that as it may, you have chosen death over me," he said glaring at her intensely. "Such a waste." He lowered down to the floor, forelegs stretched out in front of him and hind legs to the back. He looked as if he were ready to pounce. "Don't you DARE Hayashi!" Hiruko shouted, jumping down from a particularly tall tree and landing to the side of Mira. "Oh, I see the HERO has arrived, ready to perform his 'oh-so-noble- act," Hayashi teased. "Give it up Hiruko, she has already chosen you over me and I accept that now. But it still doesn't change the fact that I wanted to kill you anyway." Hiruko growled and Hayashi joined in too. The air was tense with rage and rivalry. "I swear if you lay one filthy paw on her, you will be left with nothing but stumps," Hiruko threatened.
