"Kiba" she squeaked "What's going on?"

"Umm... If my opinion matters, I can send himaway with my powers..." He said. Not feelinglike he was going to accomplish anything by saying that.

"Hayashi is evil and Hiruko's brother. He tried to make a move on Mira, whom he has a crush so he got very angry. I think that about covers it."

"NO, STOP!" she yelled at the two Torakans. Even though she knew that Hayashi was evil, she didn't want them to fight. "I don't want fighting here!" Her eyes seemed to bubble with anger, though they were really tears. "You need to stop!"

Tersias squeaked and hid, flushing again without realising it, unsure why. "Where's Seirei" she muttered to herself, "I'm scared"

"I was just for teleporting him away, but fine." Kiba said quietly.

Hiruko stood up straight and stopped his defensive posture. "What are you doing?!" Hayashi shouted still baring his claws and showing his teeth. "She asked us to stop, and so we should," Hiruko said calmly. There wasn't even the slightest hint of anger in his voice. "You are going to listen to HER?!" he roared. "This is hilarious. Honestly Hiruko, tell her to shut up and let you get on with your life. What a control freak she'd be! Why would you even LISTEN to her?" "Because I LOVE her!" Hiruko shouted with rage. All was silent. Hiruko couldn't believe he had just shouted this out and he shook his head in shame. "Just leave Hayashi," he growled. "I can't," he replied. "I have a job to do. My job is to kill you." "So be it," Hiruko said not even moving. Hayashi leapt towards Hiruko but he was too quick. Hayashi missed and crashed into the nearest tree, falling unconscious. Hiruko's work had been done and he began to walk away from them all without even a second glance.

... "Uhh... Ok...?" Kiba sheathed his sword. "Shouldn't we tie him up or something?"

Mira practically stopped breathing when Hiruko said he loved her. Despite feeling like her lungs stopped working, her heart was beating more and more as she realised that... she loved him too. She watched as he started to walk away, and decided she wouldn't let him go. Mira dashed after him, and fell into step by his side. She didn't say anything for a moment, but eventually said, "Did you mean that? When you said you loved me?" She didn't look at him, fearing that it might have been a lie.

Hiruko ignored Kiba. He couldn't face anyone right now and he couldn't care less about the body of his unconscious older brother. "Just let him rot there," he whispered under his breath, so faint that it was barely even a sound. Mira was by his side in an instant. He felt so embarrassed by her presence. "Every word," he said with a tear hidden in his green eyes. His pace was slightly faster now and he walked off ahead to the middle of the forest.

Tersias looked confused, and scared, much like when she had arrived.

"Hiruko, slow down," Mira said, struggling to keep up with his fast pace. "Please, wait..." She paused, in both speaking and walking, wondering if she should really tell him. "I... I love you too."
There, she thought. I told him. She felt so relieved to have let her feelings put out there, knowing he felt the same way. Now, she just feared his reaction, and whether he would believe she was telling the truth.

Kiba just watched them walk off into the forest. "I guess the job falls to me then." He quickly tied him up and placed him underground, near his house. Kiba made sure that he wouldn't escape by putting several spells on the 20-inch thick solid steel walls. Some acted as barriers, while others were weakeners. He sealed the outside with stone and rock. "Whew that is finally done. I can also hold four more people if necisarry." He finished his work before he came back up to the surface.

Hiruko stopped still and glanced at Mira, a tear finally shedding and glistening down his soft fur on his cheek, leaving a dark trail as it fell. Hiruko jumped into the nearest tree and climbed its branches, sitting on one of the higher ones. His pride had been deeply hurt today. Now Mira knew the truth, Hiruko was too frightened to even face her now. But the strangest thing had happened too: she had confessed her love back to him. There was something about her that made him want to protect her for always and for her to be his forever. He sobbed on the high branch, tears raining down beneath him.

Mira was shocked when Hiruko ran from her up to the nearest tree. She sighed sadly, and turned to walk away. This is what she had feared, him running, and now she felt all alone.

Kiba came back and found her curled in a ball. "Hey, come on you're a grown woman, you can't be curled in a little ball." He helped her up and comforted her.

Hiruko felt bad as he watched Mira walk away solemnly by herself. He couldn't decide whether to follow her or stay where he was. 'She must just feel sorry for me, she can't love me,' Hiruko sighed. He didn't know what else to do. "Mira!" Hiruko called out. "Can you climb trees?" He felt stupid at this comment but it was the only way...
