She gave a little yelp and jumped back. "Eh... I... eh..." she began to get all flustered and shy, she hadn't known she was being watched. She looked up, these two were huge more than twice her hight but they had both said she didn't need to be afraid. "I'm Keeta," she said in a small and unsure voice, "And I don't know where I come from... I walked and found here, I needed water, I not mean to be naughty."
Having very limited interaction with older creatures, Keeta had never learned what was good or bad so when she did come across someone, she automatically assumed she was in the wrong. As she watched the two, she noticed the leaf she had been holding captive had floated away, she wanted so badly to run after it again and glanced at it, but held her position.

"I don't know," she whispered back to Hiruko, smiling at the young fox all the while. "You're not naughty," she told Keeta. "We were merely curious as to who you were. Welcome to Tialka." She noticed that Keeta's baby blue eyes quickly darted to a leaf, then back on her and Hiruko. "Go on, have some fun," she said, motioning Keeta to chase after the leaf with her paw.

Hiruko was silent as he sat there watching Keeta the tiny fox and Mira's mothering skills taking effect. He couldn't help but think about things thoroughly. "I...I...I'll be back later," Hiruko said, winking at Mira and smiling sweetly to Keeta. Hiruko ran towards the mountains to the West. Their enourmous height reached high into the sky. But there was something lurking there...Something that had been locked there for a while...And Hiruko needed to check if things were safer than he had thought.

Tsuki watched the events unfolds whilst licking his wounds, they seemed to be genuine in there care, at least that's what they showed. The years hadn't been kind enough to allow Tsu to be naive. The wolf cub looked around his cave, and by will it began to change, with a rumbling of earth the lake moved and a slow undeground/inner cave spring opened for Tsuki, and an alcove for food and one for a bed. He smirked and turned back to the others.

When Hiruko reached the base of the mountains, he stared up at their magnificent height. The rock was a pale grey purple. There was edges and crags on the mountain side that were no problem for Hiruko to climb. He jumped from one ledge to another with ease as if they were basic steps to another floor. He was a couple of hundred feet up from the ground when Hiruko reached an opening to a cave in the top quarter of the mountain. The cave was dark and lifeless yet a low growling could be heard from deep within. To the side of the cave, there hung a torch with no flame. Hiruko used some rocks from the ground to emit a spark to light the torch. Entering the cave, the flame of the torch flickered and made small moving shadows across the smooth stone walls. The opening was fairly narrow and long but it didn't take long for Hiruko to reach an enormous room. The growling was louder here, it came in waves, inhaling and exhaling like breathing. Hiruko put the torch on a stand on the wall and stared to the other end of the hall-like room. A shadowy figure was strapped to the wall as if stuck there by glue. The glint of rusty, silver chains glowed in the firelight and wrapped themselves round two large paws. An electric blue eye hovered in the shadows and glared at Hiruko as if he were some sort of prey. The creature leaned out slightly and hit the light from the fire which showed all its features in an orangey glow. It was a dark wolf with an electric blue eye and a big, grey mane which limped lifelessly over his face. The other eye was milky white and had a scar cut down across it. The wolf's shoulders were big and bulky, powerful enough to hurl a tree a couple of metres. It just stood there glaring at Hiruko and the growling became increasingly deeper and louder. There was a long minute of silence; and the wolf finally spoke. "So nice to see you again, Hiruko," it snarled with it lip curled up on one side to show jagged, sharp fangs. "I was beginning to worry that you had forgotten about me." The fire made the shadows of the wolf look even bigger than he really was. This made him look particularly frightening along with the rumbling of his growl which echoes all around the hall. "You know I haven't come here to free you, Koatia," Hiruko replied with a surprisingly calm voice. He was not afraid. The wolf known as Koatia growled even louder. His expression was furrowed and enraged. "Of course, I knew you would never let me free. You are wise not to because I would surely attempt to kill you if you did." There was a slight delay in Hiruko's reply. "I see that you are still looking for revenge after my doings." <<To all other members, if you would like to know what I am talking about here, go to the Legends of Lacina board which will explain the story there>> "I would stop to no end to pay you back for what you did," Koatia roared. His teeth was now no longer clenched together but opened slightly. Every jagged tooth stood out from his menacing jaws. "Exactly, which is why I can never allow you to leave this cave. You shall remain here until the end of your life." "Then why don't you just get it over and done with, kill me now and there will be nothing ever to fear," Koatia said cunningly. "I avoid meaningless killing. It is not my job to take lives. That is the Gods' desicion on who remains alive and who dies. And I am leaving it up to them to let you live until you die of old age." Koatia smirked slightly, his jaws windening even more. "And yet you are a God yourself. To this world at least. The gods of the universe granted you semi-immortal life. I'm sure they will let you off for doing their bidding." "I shall not interfere with the fate of their plans," Hiruko said briskly. "Then that makes you weak." "I am not weak!" Hiruko roared with anger. " I simply do not believe that anyone, no matter how evil their sin, deserves to die through another." Koatia laughed loudly. It was a chilling laugh that sent shivers up Hiruko's spine. "And yet, if I escaped, you would surely kill me," his voice was becoming increasingly loud and husky. "Of course," came Hiruko's answer. "The rule is an exception if it puts an innocent life in danger and I know you wouldn't stop at killing me. You'd make sure that not even my friends were left standing by the time you had finished. I cannot let you leave here. You shall remain here while I let my world thrive with life. I already have two new arrivals here and it will be my duty to make sure that they live a peaceful life of joy and comfort, without fear or neglect." This was a wrong move to make. Koatia had suddenly become interested in this new piece of information. "I see," he said narrowing his eyes. "And are the new arrivals aware of my existance here, five hundred feet above them?" Hiruko shook his head. "It would be better for them if they did not know. Then they would have nothing to fear." Koatia tutted in an overly sarcastic way. "And what if I were to escape? Would you tell them then?" "They would have the right to know that there was a dangerous enemy on the loose." "Then let them know." Hiruko's eyebrows dropped even lower. "What is that supposed to mean?" "Surely you haven't failed to realise that since I have been chained to this cave, my strength has been recovering? You must have known that one day, I will regain my full power once more and break free from this rocky prison?" Hiruko said nothing, his expression was filled with panic now and he moved slightly as if he was expecting Koatia to try and escape this instant. "I guess I'm just teasing you," the wolf laughed. "Who knows if that day will ever come." "It won't," Hiruko growled and made his way towards the opening. "I look forward to fighting you again, Hiruko," Koatia shouted at Hiruko's back. "It would be very interesting to see how much you have improved since we last battled." Hiruko took one last glance back then he snatched the torch from the wall and left the wolf clouded in shadowed darkness once more.

A large shadow moved across the ground near the lake. The shadows condensed until they were the deepest black that anyone could imagine. The shadow raised itself up out of the ground and started taking form. It was about three feet tall and had four legs, the shadows obscuring the rest. After a few moments, the shadows receded and a medium sized wolf stood there. His pitch black fur made it look like the shadows never left. His bright white fur on his chest and stomach shone in the light of the sun, the silver chain around his neck catching the sun and the pendant reflecting the sun in different directions as it twisted on it's chain. The katana on his back was sheathed and just as dark as his fur, a small black silk cloth holding it in place. His steely gray eyes looked around and he quickly noticed the small fox and Mira standing not too far away. He approached them, albeit carefully, to find out who they were and if this was the place the invitation had been sent from.

Hiruko stepped out into the day again. It was around noon and the sun was high in the sky. He jumped from the cave ledge down to the nearest edge and continued to do so until he reached the grassy ground below. He stared into the distance and saw Mira still with Keeta. Another figure was walking towards them. Curious, Hiruko ran over to this new creature. As he got close, he noticed it was a wolf with black and white fur. "Welcome," Hiruko said quite out of breath. "You must be new here. I'm guessing you received my invitation?"

He jumped and spun around, startled by the sudden noise. He drew his sword out of instinct. "Oh, Greetings to you." He bowed in front of the tiger before him. He stood up on two legs so they would be more of an even height. "My name is Kiba Kurokage, but you and everyone here may call me Kiba." He looked around at the surrounding area before saying. "Yes I recieved your invitation. This world seems so at peace, though there is a slight disturbance, no world can be perfect I suppose? Maybe it is just my imagination anyway." He took off his sword, sheath and all, and sat down leaning against a tree, the katana leaning on his shoulder. "So what is your name if you don't mind telling me?"

Slightly startled by the sudden drawing of Kiba's sword, Hiruko hadn't realised he had bent low in his defensive posture ready to strike. Luckily, Kiba calmed and leant against a tree. "True. No good can come without evil," Hiruko said. He thought about what he was discussing to Koatia earlier about telling his new arrivals about the evil that lurked hidden in the mountains and restrained to a stone wall. Instead he left the sentence at that and decided not to say anymore on the matter. "My name is Hiruko," he answered to the wolf. "I am a Torakan and one of the founders of this planet."

"Nice to have met you Hiruko. This is indeed a very good planet. I think that I would like to live here instead of just passing through as I originally planned." He looked at the lake and his sharp steely eyes softened a bit. "I haven't had a real home in a long time."

Hiruko stared at Kiba sympathetically after his last sentence. He didn't know what to say without seeming nosey. So instead he continued to stare into the sky whilst the breeze hit him softly on the cheeks. "You are welcome to stay here for as long as you wish," Hiruko reassured him. "This may be your home if you wish. There is plenty of space for many, many more. The more the merrier." Hiruko felt trusting of Kiba. Something about him invited him in to be his friend and he smiled quietly to himself. Panic shivered through the whole of Hiruko as he heard an enormous explosion coming from the top of the mountain. It almost made him jump a foot in the air. The sound of the explosion echoed throughout the whole of Lacina. It was an awful sound, the sound of terror and fear. Glancing at Kiba, Hiruko rushed towards the base of the mountain to identify the cause of all the chaos.

Kiba watched the tiger run away towards the sound of the explosion and thought, If he would have waited, I could have teleported us both there... The shadows pulled around him and engulfed him in a reverse of how he appeared here and he teleported to the source of the explosion. He quickly drew his blade when he appeared, ready for anything that might come his way. He looked back to try and find Hiruko, surely he wouldn't be far behind.

Hiruko stared up at the explosion. Rock dust was floating all over the top of the mountains making it difficult to see. Small rocks the size of fists rained down on top of Hiruko. He only just realised that Kiba had joined him at his side and was ready, baring his sword at his side. Suddenly, the enormous black wolf emerged from the thick cloud of dust and was aiming for Hiruko. Hiruko launched the wolf across to the floor and kicked him square in the chest. Koatia flinched slightly then sent a blue cloud rushing towards Hiruko and Kiba. Hiruko squirmed in pain until he was finally released and stood up briskly to avoid a further attack.

Kiba had moved swiftly out of the way. I have to stop this before it gets too far, Kiba realized. He summoned his power over shadows and ran towards the wolf with blurring speed tapping him lightly, leaving small black marks on his arms, legs, chest, and one on his forehead. He jumped back and said to Hiruko, "You have to hold him off for a minute while I charge this. This will stop him cold after I finish the spell." A dark aura emminated from Kiba, shadows moving around quickly.

Nodding to Kiba, Hiruko deflected Koatia's Electric Fire Ray. Roaring angrily, Koatia had realised that his magic for now was of no use. He was becoming weaker and weaker by using more and more. Koatia charged for Kiba but was cut short when Hiruko knocked into him. He jumped up and kicked Koatia with several beats of his strong legs. Koatia caught Hiruko in his jaws by the tail and flung him sideways. Once again, the wolf was about to leap onto Kiba but Hiruko summoned the power of the the Earth and shot a green beam towards Koatia. Koatia stopped several feet away from Kiba and snarled. However he got back up in one leap and pounced towards Kiba for a final time.

This was when black chains appeared around his arms and legs. They ran straight into the ground and pulled the black wolf to his knees. Kiba rasied his hands and more chains appeared out of the other wolf's shadow and wrapped around his muzzle, neck, and chest. The black marks glowed white for a second before they grew into locks, securing the chains in place. A small circle that glowed white appeared around him and Kiba put his arms down. "That should hold him." Kiba gasped, clearly exausted from his efforts. "Now, deal with him... as... you.... wish." Kiba's eyes shut and then he collapsed on the ground, passed out from the energy he had used for the spell.

Mira had been swimming about in Lacina Lake when Hiruko had disappeared off somewhere, and so was ignorant of the events that had taken place - until she had heard a rather loud explosion. Due to force of habit, Mira had instantly covered herself with her invisibility. She dashed out of the lake, using her power to stop any sloshing, and made her way the the large dust cloud that had formed. She swore silently under her breath, as she realised where the dust cloud had been: where Koatia had been detained. She picked up her pace, running faster, until the battle scene between Hiruko, Koatia and an unknown wolf came into view. She watched as shadow-chains trapped Koatia, at which point she revealed herself and stepped forward - just as the unknown collapsed. She made sure that he was alright, before stationing herself next to Hiruko. She waited for him to speak.

Hiruko brushed away some sweat that had been saturated into his fur as he was fighting. He was quivering a little, but barely even noticeably. He had become slightly weakened from using all his efforts into taking Koatia down. Koatia stood there snarling quietly yet loud enough to hear. He was engulfed in the chains Kiba had put around him. Suddenly Koatia began struggling, thrashing his whole body about and screaming roars of frustration and rage. The chains around him were chinkling madly and some were beginning to snap and creak under the pressure. The chains exploded, sending flying bit of metal everywhere. Koatia was free once more. There was a chain still wrapped tightly around the base of his tail and another around his neck. Although slightly irritated by them, Koatia ignored them and ran out of sight. Too exhausted to follow on, Hiruko watched angrily as the wolf ran through the forest and out of sight. He breathed heavily and started to make his way over to Kiba. Mira had made an appearance too, obviously curious of the events that had just passed. "Koatia escaped," Hiruko said shamefully. He felt responsible for Koatia's rage in a way. "I tried to take him down along with Kiba. Kiba wrapped some chains around him and then collapsed from the sheer exhaustion of his magic." Hiruko sighed staring at the wolf, exhausted and vunerable. "We should get him down to the lake and splash a bit of water of his face so he comes too," Hiruko suggested. "Then I think a cozy bed and a bit of rest will make him fit for another day."
