Mira nodded, and the two Founders made their way from the lake, in their search of Hiruko. Mira managed a grin, hoping her plan would work. After all, they were both interested. Why shouldn't it work?

Nat almost jumped as she heard his voice so close. "Um... I, don't," she said shaking her head, not taking her eyes off the moon.
"I am not a wolf, so wolven songs are foreign to me."

"I, uh..." Nat stumbled over her words. She cursed herself for it. "No thanks," she said, "it is not part of my custom to sing."
She finally looked at Kiba. "Maybe... maybe another time? When I have been here for longer, and I feel at home."

"Uh, ok... So what would you like to do then?" He asked, slightly stumbling over his words. He hadn't lost his cool like this for quite some time.

Nat shrugged, turning her gaze away again. She could feel the heat already in her cheeks.
Why was she so nervous? she asked herself, 'Why?'

Kiba quickly composed himself. "Nice to see that you have opened up. You aren't quite as cold as when you first arrived."

"Heh, thanks, I guess," she replied. "I suppose I've got used to the atmosphere here." She turned her muzzle up to the moon, the beams reflecting brightly off her eyes.
"It's a lot different from... from home."

"I think that we should form an army of sorts, though only a few of us can fight in the first place. I could make you some armor, for protection, once I get the forge set up. Would you like me to make it for you? There are a lot of battles in the future."

"How do you know what the future holds?" she asked rhetorically. "After all, it is not always set in stone."

"No, but there will always be evil, and there will always be war. That is and always will be set in stone."

"Yes..." she said quietly, hardly a whisper. A tear came to her eye, but she refused to shed it. "There will always be war..."
Memories flashed across her mind. Friends mutilated by enemies, killed by foes. Despair everywhere.

"But, there are era's of peace and kindness, though some of those only come through war. So let's forget about that, Though do you want the armor?"

"No," she said. "Armour in my custom is a sign of weakness. We either take the strain of battle, or die trying." Her voice was hard and dark.
Her voice softened slightly. "Tian learnt that the hard way."

"I won't ask. But if it is your tradition, then I will not make it for you. Though where I come from, There is no shame in living to fight another day." He said cooly. "Mabye some weapons then, or are you used to fighting with tooth and claw?"

"Tooth and claw. It is the only way." She kept her eyes away, somewhat offended that he was asking so much.

Kiba sighed, there must be something... He decided to ask. "Anything you want me to make you then?" Trying to be nice wasn't working out quite as well as he had planned.

She shook her head. "I have all the equipment I'll ever need." Casually, she brought a paw up, flames dancing merrily. Her eyes shone with sadness.
