"So in the end, it is always the pen that is mightier than the sword..." Kiba thought out loud. "We are much alike, you and I. I wonder if it was conicidence or fate that brought us together, in fact it seems fate that everything has happened so far... So much has happened before, and it continues now. Though it was your brother who was the evil ruler I saw then."

Mira was floating slowly through one of the many rivers in Lacina Forest. She could see two canine figures, and identified them as Kiba and Seirei. Not sure whether she should interrupt the two, she merely decided to float through the water that was near them. Her damp fur reflected the moonbeams, making it almost seem as if the water around her was glowing.

Kiba sniffed the air delicately and smelled Mira. He smiled a little. "Mira, you can join us if you wish, we were just talking about times passed."

"Ah," said Mira, coming out of the water, and shaking away the damp. "Times yet gone, the memories that heal, but are never forgotten." She gave a small smile. "I suppose Seirei and you have been sharing stories." It wasn't a statement, but it wasn't a question either.

"Yes. Do you have anything to contribute to our little party?" He asked.

"I come from a world far away, just me and my parents. They were the clan leaders of Crimson Twilight, and some day I was to get their powers, along with any other children they may have. I met another of my species, Neflie, and she looked so much alike to me." She gave a sad smile. "We were almost like twins, we did almost everything together."

Kiba settled down and skipped another rock across the surface of the lake, the ripples yet again disturbing the smooth surface. "Go on." Kiba said, eager to hear about her past.

"Well, one day, my mother fell pregnant. Obviously, we were all overjoyed, though I always had a shadow creeping in my heart. Neflie's family was a guardian family on the border, and several of her relations had been killed. It was always difficult to say who would be killed next." Mira sighed. "Unfortunately, Mother experienced a miscarriage. Depressed, they gave me their powers, knowing that there would be no other. Seeking solace, I left my homeworld. I haven't heard from them since." Mira's eyes, usually holding an icy warmth that made no sense, were clouded with pain and sorrow.

Kiba put a paw on her back comforting her. He than began to tell her his story.
((Don't feel like re-typing the whole thing, so just look on the last page.))

She listened to Kiba's story intently, waiting for him to finish. Afterwards, she gave a tiny smile."Must be a real change, seeing her act like she used to, huh?" She wasn't really expecting an answer, but he could if he wanted.

Kiba sighed and stared out into the eflection of the full moon. After a few seconds of silence, he spoke. "Yes. It is really qwonderful to have your sister on the right path and not trying to kill every one and everything you care about. It is a relief and a blessing."

Mira, too, looked up at the full moon, the light reflecting in her eyes. She sighed sadly, wondering how everyone back was doing, though she was harbouring a secret anger. Why hadn't they messged her? Their own daughter. Inwardly, she shook her head. It was their business, not hers. Besides, she had a planet to look after.

Nat was in a rather uplifted mood, as she made her way through the forest, looking up at the full moon. She remembered every full moon, she and her brothers and father would all gather in the main room, share dark stories of the north, and generally be Pack.
She nearly tripped over a root hidden in the springy grass, forcing her focus to be about what was in front of her, and not on the moon, beautiful as it was.

"I wonder, is it really fate?" He asked out to the moon. "Is it just an accident that everyone here has come from war, or is it something greater?" He sighed.

Mira shrugged. "We may never know." Her ears flickered back as she heard something. Instantly, she stood and looked into the forest. "Who's there?" she called out, hoping it was friend and not foe.

"Relax. Can't you smell her? It's Nat." He said boredly. He skipped another stone across the lake.

Nat instinctively took a defensive position, fur bristled, ears erect, and lips snarled. Carefully, she walked forward, but instantly relaxed when she saw the others there.
"I wondered who that was," she said, mildly. "It's been so long, but the full moon drew me away from the desert. I think I see why, now."

"You may be uncomfortable. We are talking about our pasts. About times passed and those yet to come."
