Shiro sighed silently. "You have got quite the woman there don't you Seirei?" She half asked, half stated. She gently placed a paw on his body and teleported them inside the den. She then flashed him over to his bed to make sure he was comfy. She looked to Tersias. "I'll take care of everything from here, you can sit next too him, but please don't move him around to much ok?" She asked.

Seirei reached out a paw instantly when Tersias mentioned the idea. "N-No! They must not. . come outside.." When she disappeared inside the den he grabbed Shiro by a shaky paw on her shoulder. "Please. . understand, she's gone through a lot..."
When he got inside he gratefully spread out on the cool floor, soothing against the bruising.

"Feel like a bloody stranger in my own home" she muttered to herself, just too quiet for Shiro to hear, and probably Seirei too "Following orders, running errands... even Seirei was shouting at me earlier". After putting the kettle on, she crossed the room to the spot where the safe room was and tapped the floor of the den four times with her paw. The panel slid back and she went down the stairs to fetch the cubs.

Shiro looked down at Seirei. "I don't understand, but I will deal with it for as long as it takes." She assured Seirei while Tersias was gone.

She smiled a little as she gathered the five bundles of fluff from various corners of the room into the big basket and tucked the blanket around them, before tramping back up the stairs and closing the safe room behind her. "Here, see, Daddy's not so well" she said to them softly, as she put the basket next to Seirei's head so he could see it "Play nice, ok?"

Seirei's mood lifted slightly when he saw the little miracles in the basket beside him; he was glad he went through so much pain for them, and for Tersias, not to mention for the sake of Lacina. The little yips of the pups were like a cute little melody in his head, distracting him from the pain. One scrambled out and landed on top of his head. Seirei grinned when he recognised the white paws as they patted up and down his muzzle. "Quite the adventurous one arent you, Ebony?"

She chuckled as she lifted Ebony off Seirei's face, "What did I say about playing nice, huh?" she joked, nuzzling the pup. She lay beside Seirei, nuzzling her head up against his, Ebony lying at their feet. Sai and Kai also looked set to escape the little basket. She smiled a little. "Are you gonna be ok?" she asked Seirei softly, worried.

Shiro just walked quietly back to the kitchen area to prepare a proper treatment for Seirei. "It shouldn't even leave a scar..." She said outloud, accidentally.

Seirei was grateful for the company beside him. He grinned a little at Tersias' question of concern, "You know me, hun. . . Lightning, claws, this body can take it. . ." He started coughing for a moment and when it ceased his throat felt dry, but he wouldn't make Tersias get up for him, he knew how she felt about things like that.
From the corner of his eye he saw blue and black paws beginning to peek over the edge of the basket. "Watch out, Ters." he nodded in the direction of the troublesome duo planning their escape.

"Not forever, it can't" she whispered, unable to look him in the eye "And there's too much at stake for me to risk that happening to you. Please, you gotta stop taking so many risks and start looking after yourself..." she said softly, tears in her eyes. Looking up at the basket, she laughed a little. "Those boys" she smiled "When will they stop being so troublesome?"

Shiro came back with with a long strip of cloth and some water for Seirei. She handed Tersias the water and started wrapping the wound. "I'll have to stitch you up properly later, when your pups aren't around."

"If they're anything like me and my. . brother. . when we were kids, never." he chuckled. "And don't worry, it's my job to risk my tail off for the one I love" he whispered back in her ear.
He pawed at her arm and looked at the water, he really was thirsty. His body tensed when Shiro started wrapping him up, but he was grateful for the care.

She smiled, "I'm sorry, you need some?" she gently lifted the bowl and tipped it so that the water flowed into seirei's mouth slowly. "And risking your tail off is all well and good but what about the one I love? I don't care what happens to me, if you die that's it as far as Im concerned, nothing left for me" she said in her solemn little way "After all, once you die that's it, there's no undying" At Shiro's words she scowled a little. "So where the hell am I supposed to take them? They aren't safe outside the den" she thought to herself, saying nothing.

After Shiro finished, she stood and turned to walk out. She stopped before the door and turned her head to them, "I am sorry. I didn't get here in time and I made everyone feel terrible. I have been nothing but trouble since I got here. I hope that fixing you up will at least help you forgive me. I'll be outside, on watch if you need me." She said sadly, a single tear sliding down the side of her face before she turned and closed the door behind her.

She scowled "There's nothing to forgive, she was just treating me like a child in my own home. Tersias, fetch this, tersias, do that, tersias, don't move him..." she sighed, and looked at Seirei, "I'm not being unreasonable am I?" she asked, feeling guilty for making Shiro cry.

Shiro sat outside, the wind blowing her literally, blood-red fur around. Tears sliding down her face as she scanned the tree's. "I have been nothing but trouble. I always feel like a bad person whenever I talk to someone. I try to help, But I feel like I only make things worse. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME???" She cried out.
She sobbed for a few minutes, letting herself get lost on the river tears and sadness. She hadn't noticed that she was doing anything until she felt the cold steel against her throat. She looked down to see that she had drawn her sword and hadn't noticed and more importantly, that she had pressed it against her throat. She thought about it for a second.
Everyone acted like they liked her, but she could tell that they didn't entirely trust her. Only Seirei and Kiba trusted her. Maybe it was better to just end it all. Images flashed inside her head, images of Kiba, Seirei and the others. Of them laughing together, and then of them yelling at her, how she always hurt people, how she was never useful to anyone.
She argued with herself for the longest time, the blade pressing against her throat, drawing a slight amount of blood. It got lost amoung Seirei's blood that stained her fur already. She cried out, "I don't know what to do!" Her voice lost on the wind. 'Am I really considering suicide?' She asked herself. 'Am I really going to let it all go?' It seemed the simplest choice choice in the world, but it was really hard.
Just one smooth motion and she wouldn't have to deal with it anymore, She could just fade into darkness. She sighed one last time, the blade cutting against her throat slightly. "I just wanted to have friends! Why am I cursed so?" She cried out.
She was still undecided even as the blade started to travel. "If it be some god's will, then stop me before I finish." She prayed almost silently as she began to pull the blade.

Shiro's body was suddenly encased of ice from out of nowhere. "I will not," came Mira's voice, "have anyone dying on my watch. Even if it is intentional." Her words were not cold nor accusing, but firm and authorative.

Seirei looked into Tersias' big eyes, the watery jewels that still held that feeling of innocence of a younger arctic fox, but with the maturity of a mother.
"She knows you've been under a lot of stress recently, I've tried to explain that to her, I dunno if it sank in but. . ." Seirei coughed again but he gulped down some more water and continued. "...I know that you might find her patronising, but think. . .a short while ago she was pure evil. Maybe. . ."he thought for a moment, trying to phrase the words right in his head. "Maybe, you should give her a chance?"
Seirei yawned but didn't feel comfortable enough to go to sleep. He occupied himself by playing with Ebony with his nose.
