It wasn't long after the discovery of the Crystal Caverns that the Founders felt drawn to a grassy meadow in Tialka. They didn't know they were being drawn there, for they were too busy discussing the crystals to notice.
However, when they did arrive, Hiruko felt a strange tingling in his paws. It was a similar feeling to when he had first created Tialka, although it was different. He lifted his arms up, muscles straining as if he was lifting some heavy object.
Mira and Seirei looked on, astonished, as a circle of stone arches rumbled upwards from the ground. Hiruko, also amazed, dropped his paws as the tingling of magic stopped. As one, the three of them stepped forwards into the new formation.
Seirei took the lead, and found his way to the centre of the circle, though there was nothing there. "Skalakruh..." he muttered, meaning Stone Circle in some old tongue he didn't know.
"What was that?" asked Hiruko and Mira together, standing in front of him in the shape of a triangle.
"I said, Skalakruh," he repeated, the last word echoing into the distance.
Unbidden, the ground below them rumbled, and an altarstone shot skyward from the earth. There were three sharp edges jutting out, each indented.
The crystals they had found in the Crystal Caverns began to glow, and the Founders held them above the altar, shielding their eyes. There was a bright flash, and light returned to normal. There peered out from behind their paws.
Mira held an icy blue heptagon, carved with a snowflake. Hiruko balanced a triangle shaped green crystal in his paw, a leaf carved into the surface. Seirei's crystal was a dark blue six-pointed star, with a crescent moon carved in.
They stared at the crystals they now held, and placed them into the indents in the altarstone. They fit perfectly.
Completely baffled, the three Founders left soon after, wondering what had happened.
