Nat looked over to Seirei and gave him a nod. Without looking at Kurai, she released her magic, and the fire ropes disappeared. Now that the fight was over, the adrenaline left her body and she fell to the floor.
Her back was in pain, as was her jaw. Nat gave a quiet sigh as she lay there, knowing she'd have to move again soon. She just didn't want to at that point.

"Thank you, Nat," Seirei said when the fire was gone from Kurai's bonds. He felt so guilty when Nat flopped down onto the floor, exhausted. Looking around, he could see everyone was worse for wear, excepting the late-comers of course. He heaved Kurai's limp form onto his back. He would make sure that his brother would never cause anyone any further harm.
"I'm so sorry, everyone," Seirei spoke, his voice barely audible. "I'm sorry that I put you all through this, but ... thank you." He sincerely meant it. For Seema, Nat, Kiryu, everyone. Seirei moved towards the hole that used to be his door, on his way passing Tersias. "I won't be long, I promise. I just need to deal with this final thing, and then we will all have time to heal." This time Seirei would put things straight - literally. His home was a wreck. He gave Tersias a small lick on the nose, a small smile suddenly appearing on his face. "We may have to build a new home too! Watch the boys for me while I'm gone." Then he walked out the door and dashed away to the meadow.

Watching Nat fall, Seema's nursing instincts kicked in. The danger had passed for now, so they needed to focus on helping the wounded. She took her sister and Hiruko - the only two in the room who seemed unhurt - to one side to talk to them.
"Kiryu's wing is broken, as you've no doubt noticed, and Nat has injured her jaw and back. If it's ok with you two I would like to try and reset Kiryu's wing myself - he's recovered from far worse, and I daresay it would heal if left, but I don't want to leave anything to chance. Hiruko, I understand you have some knowledge in healing yourself - perhaps you could try and give Nat some help? I don't know exactly what injuries she has sustained but we can't leave her like this after all her help. And Tersias, your cupboards are usually well stocked - could you fetch me some basics? Hot water, a cloth, bandages, whatever you can find." Seema's training was kicking in now - her approach was organised and her tone was calm, but authoritative.

((OOC - Meanwhile, having returned from the meadow ...))
After a short while, Seirei arrived back at the ruins of his den, Hiruko by his side, having silently followed the wolf on the way there, and supported his tired body on the way back. "Sorry to burden you with all our injuries, Seema," Seirei apologised, as he looked around the main room. Nat was still out of it on the floor, sleeping heavily, while Kiryu still looked to be in a great deal of pain. Seirei flushed a little with pride as he saw both Seema and Tersias busying themselves around the den, checking on everyone. You would never have seen this sort of harmony within their family a year back.
Seirei sighed as he let go of Hiruko and flopped down onto an cushion that was still in tact. He ached all over, not only from his head and neck, but all over from just the strain of the battle. He called over to his mate, "Tersias, are the pups all right?"
