Hiruko the Torakan was searching the endless space of the universe in search of his new home.
No place seemed good enough. The environments were either too hostile or too extreme to settle to.
He had almost given up when he caught a glimpse of a quaint little planet in the far distance. It was, of course, empty and lifeless but a sort of aura emitted from it that filled Hiruko with hope and peace.
He took down from the heavens and set foot on the bare ground of the planet.
There was nothing.
Not a plant. Not even a gust of wind. There was only the sun blazing through the space without even a sky to blanket him.
Hiruko gazed at the empty space and closed his eyes. He felt something prickle beneath his toes. He opened his eyes and looked down. There was a small tree growing from underneath where he had placed his foot to land. The tree grew taller and taller with little golden leaves sprouting from the branches in clusters. It finally stopped growing at about a height of twice the size of Hiruko himself. He touched the tree. It was warm and still. There was no wind to rustle its leaves.
Hiruko realised his power now. He jumped into the air and raised his paws. Immediately, grass and trees grew rapidly from the soil and the ground was no longer flat and dull but hilly. In the distance, mountains towered up into the heavens until they almost touched the sun.
Pleased with his work, he sat down on the ground. The ground where the golden tree had grown was raised slightly with a bank all around it.
The land was still missing something however...something not even Hiruko could provide even with his powers. He decided to send an invitation for other creatures to live with him in his new land and in return, they must share their powers with him to make the land a better place.
