Hiruko was in a strange world filled with mist and clouds that extended beyond the horizon. His surroundings were filled with golds, pinks and deep oranges, the kind of colours you'd expect to see at the start of a sunset. It was a place Hiruko had never been and yet seemed so familiar. Looking around, there appeared to be no one here. There was only the faint sound of the wind whispering the ancient Torakan language.
Suddenly, a figure, large and as bright as the sun appeared from the distance and grew in size. It was a giant, white cat with turquoise blue eyes that blazed without pupils. Its fur was long and wispy, almost as if it were made from the clouds themselves. For a moment, Hiruko didn't think it was possible...and then he realised of whom he was in the presence of.
"You know me, young Torakan, do you not?" she spoke in a flowing, feminine voice that wove a silken sound in Hiruko's ears.
"Y-yes," he replied with a voice stunned by her own. "You are Faline, the goddess of the old world."
She blinked and nodded in approval. "As much as it makes me feel joyous that you have created your own world and interact with creatures far different from yourself, I weep at your lack of remembrance for your own kind."
"You know there is nothing for me to go back to," Hiruko said feeling dominated by her overpowering voice.
"Just because there is nothing for you to go back to, doesn't mean that you should not go back at all." She lowered her head as she let her words sink in. Hiruko felt Faline's message and a sudden feeling of guilt jolted his mind. "But I do not ask of you to leave this world and return. I simply ask you to believe in the little family you have left."
Hiruko knew exactly who she was referring to and was confused by her request. "I have accepted Hayashi back into our lives. I have seen how he has proved himself."
"And yet he still believes he is one of the bad guys," she said as if she had looked into his mind (which she probably had). Hiruko thought for a moment and realised how his brother must have been feeling. He must have felt so excluded from the tribe. "I will try to include him in our ways," he said apologetically. "I didn't realise he was feeling so...alone."
"Open your eyes to the feelings of your brother. You two may have had your differences in recent times but you once shared the same family. Bring that family back and you will find that your old home may not seem as distant as you think." With her wise words within Hiruko's mind and heart, she turned around and began walking back towards the horizon.
"Hey, wait!" Hiruko shouted to her. She stopped and turned her face towards him. "Will we meet again?"
She gave him a smile and continued walking forward. "Perhaps...one day again." And with that, her fur dissolved into the clouds of the day.

Hiruko awoke with a startle in the West Grassy Plains. He had dozed off during a warm, sunny afternoon and hadn't realised. Remembering his dream, he sat up and saw Mylar dozing beside him.
