Nat woke up slowly. It was early morning and the desert was still cool from the night, though that would change as soon as the sun came up.
She lifted herself from the ground and crawled out from the bush that was her home. Nat always preferred the simple things in life.
After a joint-cracking stretch, Nat ate a few of the berries that grew on the bush, satisfying her hunger. She then drank from the clear water in Otacon Oasis, relishing the coolness.
Looking up, she saw two figures in the distance. Curious but wary, she calmly waited for them to arrive, her stance defensive.
((OOC: hey, if Hiruko could reply to this, that'd be awesome ^^ since you're showing Red around hehe.))

Hiruko was guiding Red to the den where Nat lived in an attempt to reunite the two siblings. He always liked helping out and the reunion of family held a very special place in his heart.
Seeing Nat emerge from the bush, Hiruko smiled. "It looks like we arrived just in time!" he said, turning to Red and back to Nat again. Standing back a little, he let them greet each other without his interupting.

((OOC: I'm gonna use both Red and Nat for ease ^-^))
Nat watched as Hiruko stepped aside to reveal her brother. For a moment, she stood and stared at him.
Red gave her a sheepish grin. "Hey," he said quietly.
Now sure that he was real, Nat flung herself at him and pulled her brother into a tight hug. "Red! Oh my gosh!" she cried, tears spilling from her eyes and onto Red's bright fur.
"Good to see you too, sis," he smiled, hugging her back.

Kiba chuckles softly from a distance, the black-furred wolf having arrived with his sister not too long ago. "I'd better go say hello myself..." He said to himself, using his powers to vanish into the near-nothing shadows that the hot sun and smooth sand afforded. It was only momments later when he arrived at the house, teleportation being nearly instant of course.
With a bit of a smile, and making no attempt to hide his presense, lest he risk startling Nat and getting his tail caught on fire again. "Hello there. Good to be back." He says, His attire drastically different from what he wore before, now sporting black and red clothes, black being the main color, with red a secondary, trimmed with silver. Most of what could be seen was feet wrapping for 'shoes', a pair of loose pants, and a fairly fancy shirt, like a old-fashioned button-up for formal wear, a black vest ontop of that, and a deep ink-black cloak than went from shoulder to heels, the hood pulled back to show most of his face, the rest hidden by a gray bandanna, tied in a very "cowboy" style fashion. He also had a fairly full messanger bag on under the cloak.
It was already hot outside, and though he hadn't thought to change before coming to check on his friends, he certaintly thought about that now. "Been gone for only three months or so, and I see you are making new friends."
(Sooo much longer then I meant it to be. Sorry guys. >~<)

Nat let go of Red at the sound of Kiba's voice. "Kiba!" she squealed, running to embrace him too.
"And he's not really a friend," she added after letting go of the wolf.
"I'm her brother," Red finished for her, sounding a little stern, unsure of Kiba and Nat's relationship. "Red Dynha," he added. "Pleased to meet you."

Kiba smiles softly, hugging Nat back before addressing her brother. With a bit of a theatrical but very serious bow, he says, "And I am pleased to meet you. I would imagine you would like a chance to talk to me at some point, but just to start, my name is Kiba Kurokage, and I have NO intention of harming your sister, and I hope that we can be friends as soon as possible."

Nat watched her brother carefully, trying to interpret his expression. For a few moments, she thought he would say something rude.
"We shall indeed have that talk you speak of," Red said, just before his face broke into a smile. "Though I can tell from your posture that you are speaking the truth."
Nat almost laughed in relief. "Oh, it's so wonderful seeing you both again, but..." she turned to Red. "How did you find me?"
Red's expression dropped. "Hark found out, I don't know how. He wanted to come here himself, but I couldn't let him leave his family, and Buin was still under medical care."
"So you came alone?"
"I... Other than Hark and Buin, we're the only ones left." Red paused. "I'm sorry, sis. The others died in the war."
Nat stared at him, her jaw dropping open. Tears formed in her eyes once more, but she didn't even notice. She began to cry.

Kiba took no momment of hesitation to move forward and wrap her in a gentle hug, doing nothing more then trying to comfort her. He knew enough to know that it was a deep loss for her. He slowly dropped his messenger bag from his shoulder under the cloak, letting it hit the sand with a dull thump, it's contents settling slightly in it's new position. He nuzzled her neck gently, willing to let her go if she wanted to run off and be alone, but most importantly, he wanted to make her feel like she had a shoulder to cry on, so she wouldn't run off.

Nat didn't run. The smell of Kiba's fur, something she had missed, comforted her, and she continued to cry into the black.
Red stood awkwardly, looking guilty. He was the one to have brought the news to her. He wished it wasn't so, but his sister had a right to know.
After a few minutes, Nat turned to him, cheeks stained with tears. "Leave."
"What?"
"Leave me alone. I don't want to look at you." When Red gaped at her instead of moving, a fireball burst from her paw, making him leap out of the way. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" she screamed, sending another one.
Petrified of her fiery power, Red ran.

Kiba whined softly at her display of rage. "If you need a place to stay, ask for directions to my house! My sister will be around to help!" He yelled after him as he fled, making sure that he had a place to go if he was being run off by his sister. "It's alright hun. Want to go back inside?" He asked, holding her tight. He didn't question her choice to make her brother leave though, and took a glance at Hiruko, who had been mostly quiet throughout the proceedings.

Allowing the two to reunite had been going well until the sudden outburst. "Nat..." Hiruko said dashing over to her. Something had obviously hit a nerve with her. "What's wrong?" He watched as Red ran into the distance, safe from her attacks.
He was torn between making sure Nat was alright and checking that Red wasn't too flustered. Nat was obviously panicked by something however and he realised that her problem needed to be addressed quickly.
