The desert was hot, and the dry sand stuck to her sweaty paws and clung to her damp fur. As a gust of wind swirled the golden grains into the air, she pulled a scarf on, wrapping it around her face to try to protect her eyes. The journey to this point had been long, and tough, and many moons had passed since she had laid eyes on Tialka. But even though the desert was bare and hopeless, Seema knew that her travels were nearing an end. Sighing deeply, she raised her left front paw to the sunlight, examining the deep scar that stretched across it in the dazzling glare. She clenched her fist - soon she would exact her vengeance, and claim back her own.

Hiruko had made a rare trip to the desert in search of a certain plant that could only be found there. He needed it for Mira as she needed to regain her strength so a quick trip would take him less than a day. The sun was scorching the back of his neck and along his ears. This land was harsh and little could survive here.
Across the desert dunes however, Hiruko could vaguely see a silhoutte of a creature crossing the sandy plains. Unsure of who would be out in the harsh sunlight, Hiruko awaited for the creature to come into focus as it headed towards him...

Seeing hiruko, she slowed her pace a little bit. She pulled the scarf further around her face and stopped, unsure how to act. She stiffened her resolve, continuing towards Tialka.

Noticing the small one's tension, Hiruko approached cautiously. "Can I help you at all?" he said offering his help. He couldn't properly see the fox's face since the scarf was pulled up but Hiruko couldn't help but sense something familiar. And then he realised the scent. "S-Seema?" he said, eyes wide with shock.

She knew she was rumbled. The best she could do was play nice. "I just want to see my sister" she said softly, pulling the scarf away from her face. "That's all I want, Hiruko, I'm not going to cause trouble. I just need to see her"

Hiruko saw the glint in her eye, a touch of darkness. And yet she seemed so calm. "That's fine," he said flatly. "But let me take you to her. There's more than enough going on without me letting you just walk back to our land and disturbing the peace." He was gruff in his words but he felt no empathy for her. However, he felt it only fair to give her a chance to prove herself.

She nodded "More than fair, given my past behaviour" she said meekly. "I just need to speak to her, and I appreciate you giving me the chance to do that." She knew he was suspicious of her, but there was very little she could do about that.

Hiruko nodded in response as he followed her on the journey. He was cautious but relaxed a little after her explanation. He only hoped what she said was true.
"So..." he said awkwardly. "If you don't mind me asking, what have you come back to say to Tersias?" He was curious of her motives if not a little worried. It was so easy for him to stop her from causing trouble but he felt he didn't need to, not now.

Nat was wandering the desert, as usual, enjoying the warmth of the sun on her fur and of the sand on her paws. Her large ears allowed her body to lose some of the heat, so she was pleasantly warm.
In the distance, she saw two figures. Curious, she headed towards them.

Hiruko greeted the young Nat with a warm smile. "Hello Nat," he said as she walked over. "What brings you here? I was just escorting Seema to the forest, providing she behaves of course." He gave her a warning look to secure his promise from earlier.
The desert was hot and despite Hiruko's useful adaptation to all type of weather, the sun was casting its rays strongly on the back of his neck causing it to tingle with warmth. He wished he had no fur at this point so that he could cool down a little bit since there was no shade around.

Seema nodded to Nat silently. looking back at Hiruko, her face was downcast. "I'm afraid I really can't discuss the situation until I've spoken to Tersias about it."

Nat looked at Hiruko oddly. "I live here," she stated, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world (which it really should be).
She gave a terse nod in return to Seema, all the while wondering if she could be trusted.

"I meant what brings you to us," Hiruko chuckled as he knew she lived in the area.
Hiruko was strangely suspicious that Seema would not tell him what she wanted to discuss with Tersias but knowing that they were sisters, it could have been personal so he decided not to comment.
"Since I can't ask about what you've come back for," Hiruko asked, hoping to get some idea of her intentions. "...Why now?"

"The news I bring for Tersias is likely to call her home, and the business it is likely to call her home on is rather pressing. I can understand your wanting to understand my situation and intentions in Tialka, Hiruko, but I really cannot discuss much more than that. What I can say is that I intend only to stay long enough to bring Tersias home, although I will of course offer to stay and help Seirei watch the cubs if she decides not to bring them with her." Seema was businesslike and brisk, but not impolite. It was clear that she had come to Tialka for a purpose, and that her only goal was to fulfill that purpose. (OOC - Hiruko, dyou know what's going on? Cos Seema needs to get to Ters pretty quickly lol)

<<OOC - I'm going with the flow but if you need to go to Tersias...then just go Lol simple as ^^ >> Hiruko's heart sank when Seema told him that Tersias would have to go home. "But..." he sighed. "She has a family here...her home is here." He couldn't help but feel a sense of loss, not just for himself but for Seirei and the cubs who would miss her dearly. "But if she must return...then so be it." Hiruko couldn't think what else to say. He couldn't stop Tersias from leaving but it just didn't seem right. She was a Tialkian now, her crystal lay on the stone table. "Go," he said, gesturing towards the forest in the distance where Seirei and Tersias' den was. "You must go to her."

She smiled reassuringly "We wouldn't dream of taking her from her family on anything but an essential, short term basis... I'll make sure she's back here where she belongs as soon as it is manageable. Thank you, Hiruko" she nodded to the tiger, and darted off across the sand dunes to find her sister.

"Okay, well then you must go other," Hiruko told her. Watching the small fox dart towards the forest, he wondered what would happen to Tersias. As long as Seirei is around, she will be fine, Hiruko thought to himself. He trusted his good friend as Tersias was his mate after all and Seema's explaination seemed genuine enough for him.
"I'm going back to my den now Nat," he informed the canine who had gone fairly quiet during Hiruko and Seema's conversation. "You can join me if you'd like unless you want to stay here."
