Adriana had no idea where she was, and only had a vague idea of how she'd gotten there. Blinking with confusion, she looked around herself. She studied the expanse of the grass, dotted with flowers, and was surprised to find herself alone.
Standing up - she assumed she'd fallen during travelling - she began to walk in a random direction.

Seirei had been wandering around the meadow for a few hours since dawn, hunting a collection of small animals in case his family would need reserves if Koatia or Hayashi decided to show their faces. Having just quickly dispatched a rabbit and slung it over his back with the other catches, he noticed a strange silhouette against the morning sun. He didn't recognise it so he crept across the grass slowly towards it, keeping his body low to the ground. He must have been about 10 metres away when he saw the shape rise shakily to its feet and Seirei finally realised what it was.
A magnificent horse stood before him, looking greatly confused, rotating on the spot and inspecting its surroundings. As the horse turned its head towards Seirei, his eyes widened with surprise when he noticed a horn on its head. Was it a unicorn? Seirei had heard legends about these mythical creatures but had never been fortunate enough to see one for himself. There was something odd about the creature's behaviour however. It didn't seem a threat, it looked scared more than anything. Taking a chance, Seirei stood up and walked up to the horse, or unicorn, he hadn't decided, and tried to help.
'Hello? Are you lost?'

Hiruko had been tracking the enemy for several hours now in a hope for some success. But there was none. He went to the site of Hayashi's escape: a giant hole that had been blasted through the ground. The scent was old now. They had not returned since.
Suddenly, Hiruko caught a new scent. Seirei. He couldn't mistake his friend in the meadow. However, he had also picked up the scent of another. It was unfamiliar to him and Hiruko was worried Seirei was in danger. Following the scent, he quickly dashed to the source.

Adriana's nostrils flared at the sight of Seirei, and she stomped her front hooves nervously. He looked like a predator, and half-smelled like one. He spoke to her before attacking, too, so Adriana did not know what to think. She looked around her quickly with lilac eyes, and saw that there was a good chance of escaping.
Finally, she decided to speak. "I think so," Adriana said, her voice barely more than a whisper.

Seirei felt sorry for the poor thing. He sat down on the grass, folding in his wings and retracting his claws in an attempt to show he wasn't going to eat her. He smiled kindly.
'Don't worry, I'm not going to do anything to you. This is Tialka, my home, but you don't come from here do you? What's your name? I'm Seirei' Seirei wasn't really adept to this kind of thing, it was really Hiruko who knew how to deal with their spontanious new arrivals. There were so many lately, it was hard to keep up.

Hiruko arrived just in time to see the new arrival stomp her hooves as a caution to Seirei. Siding next to his friend, Hiruko whispered to him, "Is everything okay here, Seirei?"
Looking back at the horse-like creature, he couldn't help but stare at her. She wasn't any creature they were used to in Tialka. He had seen horses on his previous home planet but none of them had had lilac eyes or a horn on the top of its head. "It's okay, I'm a friend of Seirei's," Hiruko said, reassuring their guest with calming hand gestures. "We mean you no harm at all."

Adriana felt overwhelmed, she wasn't used to meeting new people, since the only faces she ever knew were from her own tribe. She cleared her throat, "My name is Adriana Xaviera," her voice stayed quiet. "Who are you?" She wasn't referring to their names, she was more wondering why there were predators in front of her who weren't attacking her, a prey animal.

"Well..." Hiruko said, wondering how to answer her question. "We are two of the three founders of this planet. You see, we both came from very different worlds but we came together on this planet and formed our own world, one filled with peace and harmony. We want others to share this place with us as a place of refuge or a new beginning. Is that why you're here? Or is your presence here an accident." It wouldn't have been the first time if it was an accident as Kiryu had no idea how he had come to Tialka. Either way, she was safe with them.

Seirei nodded every few seconds along with Hiruko's explanation, occasionally going 'Uh huh' and 'That's right.' It must be so confusing to hear their random story of how they all found Tialka in the beginning, but in reality it really was that random. At least, that's how Seirei found it.
'None of us truly know why we came here in the first place, but I think what both Hiruko and I can tell you, is that there was some kind of pull, some kind of attraction that brought us here. It was as if the world wanted us.' Seirei nodded again when Hiruko asked if Adriana knew how she had got to Tialka; he wanted to know the same thing. Thinking back.. maybe Mylar could explain to them later about the forces around Tialka.

"Well..." she started, taking a small breath. Though both predators, she felt that she could trust them. "I don't know the exact method, but I know that one of the spirit blossoms from my world sent me away from my home world." Her long grey tail swished in the wind.

Hiruko thought for a moment, taking in everything Adriana was saying. "Perhaps the spirit blossom not only sent you away from your world but also directly sent you here! In which case, there are no coincedences and Tialka really does have a powerful force attracting those seeking a new life."
It must have been what had pulled Hiruko there too since he had searched many planets for a place to begin a new life. Even though Tialka had been a barren and lifeless place before he had landed there, something drew him to this world.
The breeze in the meadow was saturated with the sickly sweet smell of brightly coloured flowers. It truly was a beautiful place that kind of fitted Adriana very well too. She seemed to instantly connect with the scenery.

Her nostrils flared as she breathed in the sweet scent of the meadow. The breeze ruffled her mane and tail. "Perhaps," conceded Adriana. "I do hope I can make a new home here." She looked around. "This place feels safe."

Seirei felt relieved that Adriana did not feel so tense anymore. It must be scary, randomly arriving in a world all alone without a definite purpose. He really wanted to get behind the story of why she had been sent away from her home in the first place, what was going on back there that had forced her to flee? He wouldn't push her though, not right now, he didn't want to make the elegant animal any more uncomfortable. Perhaps it was best to get her settled for the time being.
'I do agree that it's one of Hiruko's finer pieces.' He winked at his friend, he always found it amusing referring to their creations as art. 'If you like it here so much we could always help find you some shelter. An enclosed copse perhaps? Or the trees around the meadow?' He gestured at the places as he spoke.

Adriana had another look around. "I'm sure I could find a place to stay," she said, aware of the magical properties of her horn. She was still wary of them, even though the two hadn't attacked her, and didn't wish to be cornered.

Seirei sensed that she wanted to be left to it. 'Well, if you ever have need of me, I'm always wandering about the forest or flying here and there. I'll be off then.' He nodded at Hiruko in farewell, then took a short running start before launching himself into the sky, his large wings outspread, swiftly rising with the wind as the current took him higher into the clouds. No doubt he would see their newcomer again in the near future.
