"Then stay low and behind the tree. This won't take long." He stepped forward to the tiger saying, "I will not tolerate this kind of behavior on this planet! You will stop, or I will force you to leave." He took the katana off his shoulder and held it out infront of him, a straight line formed by his pose. He pointed his katana at him and said, "Now it is your choice, what will it be?"

Mira was surprised at Hiruko's outburst, but kept her face as calm as possible. She pushed Hayashi's hand away, and snarled into his face. "Your lady?" She growled. "I am no-body's lady, and I wish to keep it that way." She spat into his face, then drew her own away from his, feeling smug.

She ran to the tree, curling up behind it, crying. If she didn't find Seema she would be all alone on this planet. It was a horrible thought, being alone. She felt so helpless, but she was only a baby, of course she was helpless.

Kiba growled lowly, keeping a sharp eye on him. "Now will you leave peacefully, or will this turn violent?" He spun the blade, so now it was against his arm, the tip pointing behind him.

Hiruko heard the cries of the small kit. He must get Hayashi to leave. Hayashi saw it in his eyes and knew he meant business. Their rivalry was becoming heated. Hayashi was immediately humiliated by Mira's repulsed reactions to him. His anger was building. "Have it your way," he said and conjured up a dark green burst of light like before and threw it at her. Hiruko had no clue why he did it. He shot in front of the ball of green light and it hit him in the stomach. Hiruko fell to the floor, growling softly and he became motionless in a curled up sprawl. He was still conscious but too weak to move. Hayashi laughed his deep laugh once more. "Koatia will be pleased at me for this," he said coldly. "We shall meet again." He looked at Kiba and Mira briefly and then took off into the distance.

Kiba stopped and let him escape, there was more important things to tend to. Namely, Hiruko and the kit.

"Hiruko!" Mira shouted, running forward to his motionless form. "Are you okay?" she asked, nudging at his shoulder. She couldn't believe he had taken the strange green energy for her, and couldn't think of any reasons why.

"I...I...I'm fine," Hiruko said, his eyes dizzy and his stomach felt as if it had taken an iron bar to it. "Someone should...follow...Hayashi. He'll lead us straight to Koatia. I've worked it out...he works for...Koatia. That's how he learnt magic...so fast. No one but gods can learn...magic that...fast. Koatia obviously...shared some of...his skills." Hiruko tried to breath but his breaths were becoming slower. He knew he wouldn't die, he was stronger than that. But Hayashi's magic had come quite unexpectedly. He stared up at Mira who was holding his shoulders gently after nudging him. He fell calm for a while but turned away quickly. He was too embarrassed to look at her now. Hiruko felt like an idiot for acting all heroic. But all the same, he couldn't help but feel thankful that due to his actions, Mira had been left unmarked and unharmed. Hiruko closed his eyes and took in her sweet scent discretely.

Mira sighed as she looked over her shoulder and around her. "I'm afraid he's gone, I can't see him at all." She turned her face back to Hiruko. "I'll ask Kiba to scout for them later, I trust him and he's capable of defending himself or at least getting out of there fast." She paused. "Who was he anyway? You seem to know him well, despite being enemies." Mira studied Hiruko's profile, as he had turned away from her. She took a deep breath. "And... thanks. For what you did. I'm not sure why you did it, because you didn't have to, but thank you." After waiting for his reply, she turned away from Hiruko completely, and walked to where the young fox kit was curled up and hiding behind a tree. "Come on, young one," she said softly. "He's gone, he won't hurt you, and I'm going to take you somewhere safe, is that okay?"

Hiruko closed his eyes in disappointment. He wished he had his strength back. Then he could chase after Hayashi and defeat both him AND Koatia in one go. "He...he's my older brother," Hiruko replied. "We have been firm rivals from the start and we had a little...dispute before I left my own world. He was jealous of me." Hiruko didn't know what to say to Mira's appreciations. He opened and closed his mouth several times, thinking of what to say. He couldn't tell if it was because of his injury or the embarrassment that was doing it. "It was nothing, I look out for my people," he said, only half telling the truth. He didn't want to let out the real reason.

Seirei had been patrolling the skies for hours, helping Hiruko in searching for any new comers who could have appeared in different parts of the land. His accurate sight scanned the land below, trying to catch a subtle change in colour, or the shape of a body anywhere.
He slowed down suddenly in mid air and hovered when he caught sight of a terrible scene. He noticed three creatures gathered round a fourth, who appeared to be still, perhaps injured? Seirei's heart soon beat faster when he realised who it was. The distinctive bright orange fur said it all.
Seirei hurtled to the grond as fast as his wings could take him and landed heavily on the ground, a few feet from where the others all stood. The tension in the air was of sorrow and anger.
The bold wolf felt a tear trickle down his muzzle but he restrained his emotions, he had to look strong for Hiruko. As he walked towards the scene, droplets of rain started to fall from the heavens, and soon became a heavy downpour.
Seirei noticed Mira clinging closely to Hiruko, whose body was so limp. "What happened Mira?!" He snarled with concern. "Who did this?" It couldn't have been who he thought it was. No. Seirei shook his head; he didn't want to believe that he could have escaped.
As the rain continued to pour, Seirei spread out his great wings as a form of shelter for the rest of them. The heavens seemed to be crying over the injury of their creator.

"Seema" she whimpered "I need to find her, have you seen her?" she looked up, unblinking, as it descended again... "I see.... a tree" she whispered "But the leaves are dead... she stands beneath the tree... alone... cold... hungry... the blood pours" She blinked and shook her head, "Im sorry, I have no idea where that came from" she looked scared "I saw her"

The rain was cool against Hiruko's face. It trickled down his fur and onto the grass that he lay upon. At that moment, he saw a rush of wings and noticed Seirei gracefully land next to him. His enormous wings sheltered Hiruko from the rain. "Thank you...Seirei," he exhaled one more breath until he fell into a deep sleep. Hiruko had fallen unconscious in sheer exhaustion.

Mira jolted round at the sound of Seirei's voice. "Seirei!" she exclaimed. She dashed over to him. "He'll be fine, he just needs rest," she said indicating Hiruko. She paused. "I'm afraid that... earlier today, Koatia escaped. But it was not he who did this." Again, a pause. "It was Hiruko's brother, Hayashi. It was aimed at me, but... Hiruko got in the way." A tear traced its way down Mira's cheek, but she hoped that the others would only think it was the rain, as she was just outside of Seirei's wingspan.
She turned back to Tersias. "What was that?" she asked, a confused expression on her face.

"It was what i saw" she whimpered "I have foresights, but they're never more than a few seconds long, and they can be more of a hindrance than a help" she looked scared "I can't control it, and I don't know when or why, but Seema, she's going to be hurt, and alone..."

"No problem Hiruko. . ." Seirei whispered as he watched his close friend collapse from exhaustion.
His heart sank heavily when he heard the news about the escapee, and even more so when he heard that yet another evil creature had dared to create havoc in this once peaceful world.
He lifted his head to face Mira, while still sheltering Hiruko's still body. "We will eventually hav to look for them of course, but at the moment I think getting Hiruko to a dry warm place should be our top priority. Could you help lift him onto my back and I can take him to his den?"
He then noticed the young one called Tersias. "What is the problem?"

"My parents told me to come here, our planet is torn with war" she sighed "But my sister was with me also, and I can't find her, and I'm scared, I wanna go home" she was close to tears. She was only a baby after all.
