Deep down into the forest, much further than many smaller and less brave creatures would dare venture, was the site of Seirei's home. Two oaks stood tall and strong, the upper branches entwined after having stood together for so long, to create a natural archway. Through this arch a visitor would be able to see a third, a magnificent silver birch tree, not as large as the Great Tree itself, but still grand. At the foot of this tree's mass of abnormally sized roots, a hole had been dug out to serve as an entrance, just large enough for an animal to comfortably walk through. It was from this entrance that the earth sloped down into the safety of the shadows below.
The slope led into a long passageway, lit by the occasional torchlight that lined the two parallel walls. At the end of the passage stood a large wooden door with a brass knocker and latch, its wooden frame finely carved in the shape of wings. By entering this door, one would tread upon Seirei's room, and indeed the only room, yet it was large enough to hold everything the Founder required. And here Seirei sat, head rested against his left wing, eyes gently closed, pondering about the events of the day. He wondered if he were ever to have any visitors, as his den was so secretive that only a rare few would be able to find it. He was glad of the privacy of his home, yet he hoped that he would hear the scratch of claws against the thick wooden door, or the tread of paws above.

Kiba looked around and saw the archway. "Ah, it must be this way I am sure." He walked forward and found the large tree and the hole. He quietly laughed to himself. "How far does the rabbithole go?" He whispered to himself. "Though I think that this is far from a rabbithole." He found the door before long and knocked on it three times with the knocker. He sat down outside the door and waited for Seirei to open up.

Seirei's eyes snapped open as he heard a knock on the door. How funny that the moment he wanted company, there it was.
He got to his feet and opened the door with his left paw. He recognised the familiar face of Kiba and smiled in welcome.
"Hey Kiba, come in, come in..." He let Kiba walk into the room and closed the door behind him. "Soo, what do you think? Come to help me finish my home?"

"Of course! I couldn't leave anyone especially a founder without a good home. Now, what do you want done?" He looked around the large circular room.

"Thank you! Well, I was thinking of how dark this room is, what with it being underground and the only source of light coming from the fire..." he gestured towards a large fireplace in the wall to the right. "...I was thinking that you could use your magic to create a form of window, either in the ceiling or wall, that would not let the rain in, only the light. For if I were to dig a hole, all the soil would be sure to crumble in."
He, too, looked around the room. Perhaps some more passages too... he thought to himself. Much needed to be done to Seirei's home.

"No problem." He pulled out a sheet of paper and a small clipboard drawing the little den and sketching where the firplace and door and stuff was. "Where would you like the skylight? I am thinking maybe a secondary passage incase the front entrance caves in? What do you think about that?"

"Hmm, perhaps the centre? It would make the room look much grander, I think..."
Seirei shuddered at the thought of th front entrance caving in, he'd only just dug it out himself. "Yes, that would be a wonderful idea, it would give me a second exit incase I am blocked in."

Kiba looked at the center of the ceiling. He tapped it with his fist and pressed his ear against it. "I should be able to work with this." He raised his hands and the earth started moving. It moved off to the side, forming a hole in the ceiling. Kiba twitched his fingers and clay moved to the inside of the walls, creating a smooth wall. He suddenly flicked his right hand and fire covered the walls, hardening the clay. The skylight was finished and he moved his left hand again, sand filling the spot that he had just dug out. After the walls had hardened, he moved the fire to the sand above, creating glass. He let go of his eath powers and instead used wind, to hold it up there also cooling the glass. He let go of the fire and just focused on wind, making intricate designs in the still warm glass. When we finished he sat down breathing heavily. "That was a lot of work. Now tell me, what do you think?"

Seirei stared in amazement as Kiba worked, he had never seen glass made like this, the pattern was so beautiful; the glass reflected the morning light around the room, making it seem as if the newly heated clay was shimmering.
"Th-thank you so much! You have definiately made it like a home. Here..." Seirei filled a dish with fresh water he had collected from the spring that morning. "Drink, you must be shattered."

"Shattered, no. Most of that power comes from this." He held out his pendant. The ying-yang symbol graced the front and when he flipped it it showed a variety of colors. "I made this long ago, it was my first complete piece as a matter of fact. Though I don't want to make another. It took me a year of continous work to make this." He accepted the water and drank deeply. "If you would give me a momment to rest, I would reinforce your front entrance with the clay. When this particlur clay hardens, it becomes almost as hard as steel, so it is a good thing to build with."

"Certainly, rest for as long as you need." Seirei took a moment to look around in wonder at his improved home. It's certainly something else...
"It will be great when it's all finished, then Tersias can come stay, I think she'd like that."

"I think that she will." He stood up and said, "Ok, now for your entrance." He walked outside the door and took a deep breath. He raised his hands and yet again the clay covered the walls, fire consuming it shortly after. When he was finished, the clay had hardened into shapes and figures. The hall was also larger, the skylights still empty for now. The figures on the walls were carvings of Seirei. One with him flying through the sky, another with him sending stars into the sky, and yet more of him. The last one above the door had him standing, wings stretched, forming the doorway. Hiruko and Mira standing beside him. "What do you think?"

Seirei had to conceal a brief tear of joy at his new hall. A hall dedicated to the three founders, what better way to welcome creatures to his home? He raised his left foot and placed his paw on Kiba's shoulder. "Thank you." he said "I thank you sincerely from my heart. You have performed . . . magic." he grinned.

"Thank you. It took me five years to be able to craft the earth and clay into such decoration. I still need to work on the skylights though. Oh, that remindes me. The glass is really light due to the fact that there is microscopic holes in it, allowing air to enter, but keeping water out. One year to do that right."

"Oh, the skylights can wait for another day" Seirei smiled. He was impressed by Kiba's determination and patience to develop his skills over such a long period of time. The two wolves had much alike. Both had served in war, both trying to develop themselves, make themselves stronger.
"Please, come back to my room and sit by the fire, the light is fading and soon it shall grow dark."

"Very well. Should I make some tea?" He wasn't a really big fan of tea himself, but ever since he came to this planet, he has started drinking it more and more.

Tersias was walking through the forest "Seeeeeeirei? Where are youuuuu?" she laughed, her voice echoing against the trees. She looked around, suddenly realising it was getting dark. "Seirei it's dark in here, I don't like dark!" she squeaked. "Seirei!!"

Kiba heard the noise and poked his head out the den. "Tersias, over here!" He called out to the young kit.
