Mira entered the main circle of Skalakruh, Kiba following. "Well, here we are," she said. She stopped at the altar at the centre. "This is where the magic activated. That one was my crystal," she pointed to the icy blue crystal with the snowflake etched onto it.

He placed his cyrstal on the alter. It glowed and changed shape slightly. It became a perfect sphere, the coloring became a deep black. Silver lines appeared over the surface forming intricate designs. "So it is similar, just not the same." He murmured. "It would seem that these are far more reactive than those back home."

Mira looked closer to Kiba's crystal. "Look," she said, "your name has been carved onto it." She looked up at Kiba. "You have similar at home? Please, describe it to me."

"Back at my planet, my old home, There are crystals similar to these in nature. They grow in a large cavern underground. They react to a person, and so we use those to judge what a person should do for their life. Every time it has also been what they were happy to do and most even wanted to do those jobs."

"I don't know what they're here for," said Mira. "I just know that they always seem to fit in certain places in Skalakruh. For example, my crystal refuses to fit into Hiruko's crystal's position. There are also such indents on the other stones here. Maybe yours will fit in one of those?"

Mira trotted over to Kiba. "Where exactly does it fit?" she asked, not being able to find the black crystal among the rock's dark exterior.

"Here." He said and pointed, "but watch this." He touched the crystal and the lines started glowing. They spread out over the entire pillar, the lined outlining and connecting a few holes.

"I wonder why that could be," murmured Mira. She never knew why Skalakruh had been there in the first place, but this added to the mystery. She shook her head. "Well, we'll find out when we find out... I guess this means you're a part of Tialka now," she added. "Your crystal has accepted the home Skalakruh provides."

"Than I am official." He laughed a little. "We will have to work on this later, would you like to head back to your cave? or maybe back to my house?"

"I don't particularly mind," she said, "whichever is more comfortable for you." She knew her home was too cold for most Tialkans, and she didn't mind other climates.

"To my house it is then." He didn't like the cold at all, it one of the few thinngs he disliked. He started walking Mira following behind.
