[[OOC: Continued from Seirei's Den]]
Seirei led the way to his favourite part of Tialka: the wide open plains, where he could sit and stare up at his creations, the stars, which served as his comfort and guide. He layed down on his back, wings flat against the ground, making him look like a fallen angel. He lay there and stared up at the sky; he could sit there forever. "Isn't it great?" he sighed to Kiba.

Kiba looked up at the sky, the bright moon gracing the sky, just a sickle hanging out of reach. The stars shining brightly against the black framing of the sky. Kiba just sat down and watched the moon. "It sure is. Would you join me please?" He said quietly. Then he began to howl. It is a song of peace and harmony known to all wolves. His voice haunted the air, quieting all wildlife as they stopped and listened to the song. The earth became still, wanting to hear more. His voice was heard throughout the world, everyone awake stopped and listened to the harmony. Even those asleep listened in their dreams. 'Come Seirei, I am sure that you know this tune' he thought.

Seirei felt tingles down his spine when he recognised the ancient melody. He immediately sat up, tilted his head back and began to howl in harmony to Kiba. The night stood still as it listened to the beautiful song, the song that, no matter what clan they were from, had been passed down to every wolf for generations. Even though it was a song of peace, it was still very sad, reflecting on the painful pasts of these two strong wolves.

As the melody was finished and the tune fell to the wind, Kiba smiled and said, "That was really good." He laid back and watched the stars once again as the world continued to move again. "You have a good voice you know."

Seirei smiled, and flopped back onto the grass with a sigh.
"Same goes for you." he grinned. "I think it must be our duty to have good voices," he laughed, "Otherwise the tunes passed down to us would sound terrible!"
He laughed for a little while, then his eyes met the stars and those memories came flooding over his eyes again. He screwed up his face with the sudden rush of them. Why did they have to take over his head like that?

"Would you like to start another? It has been a long time since I howled with anyone. My sister was the last..." He wispered the last part. "The song of new hope maybe?"

Seirei couldn't focus on Kiba's words, howls of pain and loud voices dominated his ears and he curled up slightly where he lay, every now and then a whimper escaping his chest.

Kiba saw the change in Seirei's actions and quickly went over to him, checking if he was ok. "Seirei? Seirei? Are you ok? Can you hear me?"

Seirei's eyes were screwed up so tight against the sounds that only existed in his head, that tears were streaming from the corners of his eyes. The memories had never taken such a strong hold on him before, it must be the influence of the stars.
The whimpers turned to erratic snarls, his tail swishing visciously from side to side. The more the tail swiped the air, the stronger the gust of wind created. Someone needed to break him out of the trance soon, or he could become dangerous.

Kiba quickly tried to wake him from whatever was happening. He shouted and splashed water on him. Trying to wake him up. At that point he had an idea. He began to howl again, a magical tune known to the upper class of wolves. It was a calming song and had prevented a few wars before, so it might help now.

As the melody sounded out into the night, it drowned out all the terrible sounds in Seirei's head, his tail gradually slowing down, calming his troubled soul. After a few minutes he lay there, as still and silent as if he were peacefully asleep, his hind leg twitching now and then, but he was calm. The gentle night air ruffled his shaggy blue fur as he breathed deeply in and out of his black nose, sweat trickling down his muzzle with the water Kiba had splashed on him.

kiba finished the song, the last note hanging in the air before it faded. "Do you feel better Seirei? What happened?" kiba looked at his friend and was deeply concerned.

Several minutes passed as Seirei lay there. Soon, he managed to slowly open his eyes, seeing Kiba's concerned face above him. He had helped him all that time...he had never known a wolf to care so much for another. It was in their instinct to look out for only themselves, but still...there he had been...
"Th-thank you...Kiba." His voice sounded as if he were breathless. "I-I don't know what came over me...the memories..."

"They trouble you too? Mine haven't been nearly as bad as this, but I know the feeling. Are you sure that you are ok?" He asked.

Seirei struggled to stand, but as soon as he had straightened one leg, he fell flat on his side again. "You have the same trouble? I think..perhaps...we are cursed never to forget." he laughed weakly. "I might need a little time until I can stand..."
Suddenly he exhaled with a groan and lay dead still, unconscious.

Kiba checked his pulse, it was strong, so he was still alive. Maybe just tired after his ordeal. He himself started having flashbacks of the blood and gore of war. He shook his head, tring to rid himself of those thoughts. They went away but still lingered in the back of his mind, ready to come back at any time.

A long while passed as Seirei lay there. The sun was slowly peeking over the edge of the horizon, it would soon be light. Early morning dew was starting to form on Seirei's coat.
He stirred, eyes opening and closing a few times before he was fully conscious.
"Urrhn...Kiba..?" He got to his feet shakily, he felt as if he might be able to walk.
