After walking back to his den, Hiruko had thought over his love with Mira. He couldn't have been happier caring for someone who cared about him in return and was as so elegant and beautiful. "Well here we are," Hiruko said pausing outside his den and staring up to the branches at the top. The moon was shining through every gap in the trees and the fireflies had made their return. Hiruko was happy that the scene was set for his mood. He then looked back at Mira gazing deeply in her now silvery eyes.

Mira began climbing up the tree behind Hiruko. Fireflies were hovering, gasting a golden glow around Hiruko, her only love. The moon itself was bright and shining through the browning leaves, and she knew that she was bathing in its silvery glow. Her love looked back at her, and she smiled warmly at him, feeling her heart fill up with love. He made her feel like no one else had never made her felt before.

Hiruko smiled as she followed him into the den. "Come on in," he said to her opening the door and letting her enter first. "I just need to grab some of my herbal remedies to deal with my injuries. They aren't serious anymore, they just need cleaning up." He ran to the kitchen area and grabbed a few pots of different plants. He then crushed them together to produce a green paste. "Please make yourself at home," Hiruko said politely as he made his remedy.

Mira looked around her as she entered. The den was made mostly of bark and leaves, casting a greenish glow inside. It was comfortable for her, despite her preference for cold climates. She sat down near the middle as Hiruko made the herbal remedies. "If you can get me a flannel, I can wash your wounds and dress them for you."

Hiruko smiled as he watched her look around her new surroundings. He was proud to keep his home clean yet cosy. He opened the window to allow a cool breeze to enter and the moonlight to shine through. "I thought you'd like the nice cold breeze," he said beaming. "And that would be great as I can't reach the wounds on my back. Thank you, Mira."

She smiled lovingly at Hiruko. "Anything for you, love," she said, luxuriating in the breeze from the newly opened window. Mira looked at the cuts. "Where those caused by the trial you went through to get the Kumorishi?" she asked.

"Yes," Hiruko said his tone low. "It was difficult, the traps were lethal but I pulled through, thank the gods. They wanted me to return home to you."

Mira positively beamed at this point. "I'm glad they share the same sentiments as I do," she purred, standing up. "Is the remedy ready?" she asked, standing next to Hiruko.

Mira's words were so pure. Hiruko gleamed with his affection. "Yep its all done now," he said scooping the mixture into a round pot. "This paste has such amazing healing qualities. It's astounding what a few plants could do to help an injury."

"Mhm," agreed Mira, taking the pot from Hiruko. "Go get me a flannel and a few bandages, please," she said, sniffing at the mixture. It was a strong smell that bit at her nose, but it had an underlying soothing smell.

"Certainly," Hiruko said courteously and hurried to a drawer in his bedroom to retrieve the bandages and a flannel from the bathroom. He placed it on the table and turned to Mira. Her fur was flickering against the sweeping breeze coming through the window.

She smiled warmly at him, then picked up the flannel, placing the pot on the table. She summoned water to soak the flannel with, and Mira started to wash the dried blood away with cold water. The cuts were shallow, but quite long, which equated to quite a bit of blood. After she'd finished with that, she picked up the pot of the herbal remedy, and began to spread it across each of the wounds, and once she'd done that, she wrapped them up with the bandages. "Is that okay?" she asked Hiruko.

Hiruko purred pleasantly throughout Mira's healing session. Hiruko back was instantly soothed by the remedy and the purity of the water that Mira had summoned. Once the wounds had been cleaned and the bandages were wrapped round, Hiruko continued to purr deeply. He turned around and held Mira close against him. "Thank you, my sweetness," he said softly, almost a whisper. "It feels so much better." Hiruko couldn't thank her enough for everything she had been there for in his life. She was the heart and soul of his life. It didn't seem as if it could exist without her. She was his true love for certain. He stared deeply into her eyes, his expression relaxed, affectionate and passionate. He leaned even closer to her so that their chests were brushing up against one another. The soft, rounded chest of hers was delicate compared to the broad, firm chest of his. Hiruko kissed Mira softly closing his eyes as he did so. The only thing he saw in his mind was her and only her. It was the most mind-blowing experience in this world or any other world.

Mira kissed him back, her eyes closed and her tail curling round the two of them and bringing them closer together. After a while she broke the kiss. "I love you so much, Hiruko," she said to him quietly, a smile on her face. "I can't think of anyone else I'd want to spend the rest of my life with."

Hiruko could feel his whole body flowing with his love for her and he couldn't help but be as close to her as possible. "I'm glad you feel that way Mira," he said, his voice so relaxed yet alert and his tail brush up around her. "Because I felt this way towards you for such a long time. My life beforehand seems pointless without you now." Hiruko sat down and gently sat Mira on his lap, nuzzling through her fur and purring deeply, filling the whole room with his contentment.

Mira was so happy, not even the whole Universe would have been able to contain it if it had been tangible. She loved him so much, everything seemed to make sense whenever he was around. "I'm so glad I met you, Hiruko," she purred. "Sometimes I wonder if Tialka brought us here on purpose." She laughed. "Since I heard your story, it doesn't seem as implausible as before."

"It does seem possible doesn't it," Hiruko said lightly. "In fact there is something I have been thinking about. I didn't just want to rush into things so I waited a while to make this decision." He stood up holding Mira up for a bit whilst he moved. He then bent down on his knee and held Mira's paw gently. "Mira," he spoke confidentally and meant every word. "I have loved you almost from the moment I first met you and I want to spend the rest of my life devoted to you on our home world now, Tialka. I want our future to be secure and for us to live in peace and purity without the worry of evil and shadow. That is why I have decided to ask you..." He pulled out a box about the size of his whole hand and presented it to her. "Mira?" he asked. "Will you marry me?" He opened the box to reveal a large tail ring, gold, with wavy, vine patterns mixed with snowflakes and a large turquoise gem sitting at the top.

Mira's eyes widened and started to shine with surprise. "Yes," she breathed, hardly daring to believe it. "Yes, I will!" Her tail swung round, presenting the tip to Hiruko so that he could slip the tail ring onto it. "It's beautiful..." she said, looking at the ring.
