Mira sat outside the entrance to her cave, looking down on Tialka which lay open below her like a map dusted with a thin layer of white that was the snow. She smiled to herself; she knew that more snow would be coming soon, along with a snowstorm, then after that, her wedding to Hiruko.
Her thoughts being as they were, she wondered where Shiro was. They were the two main forces behind the planning of the ceremony, though Mira didn't mind if Seirei or Tersias or anyone else added their little suggestions in now and again. Mira yawned, stretching out on the ice. She loved it up here, but she would probably move into Hiruko's tree den once they were wed. Still, Mira knew she would be up here a lot, considering it's where she felt most comfortable.

Kiba shivered, making the climb to Mira's cave, with all the snow, it was hard to get an exact position to teleport to. He finally found the entrance to the cave, shaking the snow off and out of his fur. He moved inside where it was fractionally warmer, his footfalls echoing through the cavern. He had changed a bit with the new weather, the cold of winter and the threat of attack forcing him to change.
His fur was no longer pitch-black but a speckled gray for winter, his attire up here warm and solid white. He kept his katana back at his home, switching to shuko instead, a metal band on his paws with spikes meant to aid in climbing, stopping blades and ripping flesh. He added wraps to his feet, similar to bandages, and he had a small bag on his belt, mostly dried herbs for first aid and bandages. He also had gauntlets on his forearms and the backs of his paws, the only other armor a small plate on either side of his chest, over his heart.
Once he saw Mira he smiled and bowed formally to the creator. "It is nice seeing you once again Mira." He spoke, keeping his tone even and formal until she told him otherwise. "I hope the time has treated you well."

"And you, Kiba," Mira said, sitting up and smiling at her friend. "Time has treated me well, but there is no need to be so formal with me." She stood and descended from the ice dais she had been on in order to embrace Kiba. "How are you? It is good to see that your... feral phase has passed."
As she said this, Mira remembered Shiro telling her about Kiba's 'condition', and naturally Mira felt concerned for her friend's wellbeing. It was obvious that his change had caused no physical damage, but internal or psychological damage was not so easy to spot.

Kiba nodded a tad, wrapping a single arm around her back to return the hug. "I was just trying to show a bit of respect for one of the founders and creators of the world I am living on.". He explained in a calm and even tone. He picked up a cheerier tone though when he spoke next.
"Thank you for your concern Mira. I hardly remember changing. But it was really Seirei that surprised me. Staying with me. Tersias is good to have a mate like him." He shifted a little bit and sighed, shaking his head to brush away a few dark thoughts before they could fully form. He seemed a tad distracted at this point, asking, "And how is Hiruko? I know you two are supposed to get married soon."

"Yes, Tersias is very lucky," she said. "I only think of Seirei as a brother, but I know him well enough to realise that he is a wonderful person to be with." She had a small smile on her face, which grew at the mention of Hiruko's name. "He is well. His wounds from the Kumorishi quest have healed, and he is currently on a scouting trip across Tialka." Mira sighed with a tinge of sadness. "It seems that he will never stop searching for Koatia. Although I share his worry, I wish that he spent more time resting and helping me plan for the wedding..." She trailed off, and the smile returned.
"Still, we know it will happen," she said happily. "Your sister has been very helpful with the plans. I haven't seen her in a while, though; how is she?"

Kiba nods a tad more, smiling a little bit. Though at the mention of Shiro, he lost it entirely. "She worries me Mira. With her incident and her mopeyness in the days that followed... No more attempt have been made though. But it still worries me." He confessed, sitting down on the floor to get more comfortable. "Right now she should be at home, taking a nice long bath... And how is everyone else? Tersias and Seirei's pups doing well?"

"I'm sure she'll be fine," said Mira, taking a seat next to Kiba. "As for the pups, they're all perfectly healthy," she answered. "Seirei is keen to get little Sai to start flying as soon as, but Tersias is adamant that he should wait for a little while." Mira smiled. "They're a few months old now, I think," she said, half to Kiba and half to herself.

Kiba smiles, leaning back a little bit. "Not a lot is happening around here is it? There hasn't been any new arrivals or battles... As much as I hate to fight, I actually hope something happens soon to give me something to do..." He admitted, feeling a tad guilty that he would risk harm just to have something to do. His ears flattened against his head and his tail stilled. "Maybe I should pick up a hobby or something..."

"Don't feel guilty, Kiba," said Mira. "I know what you mean. We've just got used to a fast-paced lifestyle what with Koatia and Hayashi and new arrivals." She smiled kindly. "Give it time, things will happen. Oh," said Mira, remembering. "There'll be a snowstorm in a few days time, five at the most, and I highly recommend staying indoors. It shouldn't last more than a day, so we won't be stuck at home."

Kiba stood up slowly, brushing his clothes off. "Thank you Mira. I will put the information to good use. I'll send Shiro up to talk to you about the arrangements for your wedding as soon as she is dry and in warm clothes." He extends his paw for a formal goodbye but thinks better of it. He waves a little bit, adding, "I'll be around. See you soon alright Mira?"

"She doesn't have to come immediately," said Mira, standing up also. "But thank you for sending the message." She smiled back at Kiba. "Thanks for visiting, I'll be wandering around here and there too, so I probably will see you soon enough." She gave him a small wave back in farewell.

Kiba smiled and continued to wave, melting away into shadows as he teleported back down to his home in the cliff. There he shook off the remaining snow and started to undress to cooler clothes, going in to check on Shiro. It was going to be two or three hours before Shiro appeared up at the cave.

Mira padded around in her cave for a while, humming to herself, the notes vibrating off the icy walls and echoing around her. She meandered about, tidying bits and pieces up as she usually did. She'd miss sleeping in her bedroom, but it was change for the better. Mira smiled at the thought.

After a while, Shiro appeared in a flash, dressed in the same clothes Kiba had worn up plus a faux white-fur cape. Her fur was as white as ever with a slight sheen to it. She no longer carried a sword, instead, carrying a set of throwing knives, and a white-wood bow slightly inlaid with silver, a quiver of arrows on her back, the fletching made of white swan feathers. There was slight differences amoung the arrows, enough to be felt rather then seen. She also had a set of gauntlets like Kiba, her's having a near-crossbow on the bottom of metal thread and arms, rough steel bolts sitting ready.
She looked about, ears flicking as she took in the sounds of the cave, smelling for her as well. "Mira?" She called.

Mira heard the call echo around the ice walls of her cavern, and she made her way from her bedroom to the front hall where she found Shiro wrapped up warmly. Mira smiled. "Hello, Shiro," she said. "It's good to see you again, how have you been?" She gave her friend a quick hug in greeting.

Shiro relaxed visibly when she caught sight of Mira, returning the hug in earnest. "I missed you Hun. How have you been?" She asked with a smile. She broke the hug and sat down slowly, with a little discomfort. Once she got settled however, she smiled and listened intently.

"I've been well, thank you," replied Mira, taking a seat next to her friend. "Been a bit lonely up here without you and Hiruko almost on constant rounds of Tialka. Still, it's given me plenty of time to think about the wedding," she said, smiling.

Shiro smiles at the thought of the wedding. "Ah yes. I have several plans, most of which will involve things at the last minute... But I believe I have a place and several ideas. Trust me, you are going to love it hun. Maybe Hiruko too, though it's more meant to be pretty than manly."
