Hiruko was strolling casually through the familiar forests which sheltered him months back. The past scents returned to him and he couldn't help but smile as he whispered, "Home" to himself. He looked around him but for now everything was quiet. He couldn't wait to see his friends, but one face that he was particularly excited to see was that of his true love's: Mira. He had been on such a long journey and it had been months since he had been here, but since all was peaceful in the world, Hiruko could return home to true roots.

"Hiruko!" came Mira's flowing voice. "You're back!" The snow leopard charged at him from seemingly out of nowhere, elation clear on her face, and pounced. She licked Hiruko's cheeks several times, showing her affection and how glad she was that he was back. "It's been too long!"

Hiruko's eyes dashed to the grey blur leaping and bounding towards him. "My angel!" he opened his arms wide for her and she leapt into his arms, licking his face as soon as she was in reach. "I've missed you so much," Hiruko cried whilst laying an arm around her shoulder. The scent was something he was longing for in so many months. "Peace is here at last in Tialka," he said happily. "I have travelled many miles, cleared the distant evils of the Earth, there is nothing to fear for a long time now. At least, I hope so." He gazed at her with his green eyes gleaming. She hadn't changed much, in fact, she had only grown more beautiful.

Mira smiled at her love as a winter breeze ruffled through their fur coats, which were now thickening to combat the cold. "In which case, we can start planning our wedding, if there is nothing to fear. It is now the beginning of winter, and soon time for us to be joined at Skalakruh." Her golden tail ring gleamed in the cold winter sunlight.

"Of course," Hiruko smiled. "I was thinking of having a snow theme anyway, since the Earth is all around us anyway. I know how much you love the snow!" He smiled. "Let's go back to our home and we can sort things out there," he said, holding out his paw for her.

She placed her paw delicately in his, and they started walking back to their home in the forest. All around them, the first few signs of winter were appearing: frost created a thin layer on the grass; there was a chill in the air; and the flowers were starting to close up in preparation for the snow. Mira, having an affliation with snow, could feel the heaviness in the air that meant that a coating of snow would soon blanket the forest floors of Lacina, and the rest of Tialka.

As they both wondered through the glittering heaven of the world they had once created, they finally came across their den which was a giant tree. Hiruko opened it for Mira and they both stepped inside. With a swish of his paw, Hiruko created a blazing fire in the fireplace. "So, I'm guessing that we are inviting everyone?" Hiruko questioned. "And how soon will the wedding be?"

"Of course, I believe everyone should see the union between two Founders," she said, smiling softly. "And I think it should be after the first snow-storm has settled, which will be in about three weeks time. The snow-storm will start two days before it ends. It won't be too bad, so afterwards would be a perfect time. But only if that is fine with you?" Mira looked at Hiruko with clear blue eyes, love and happiness shining within the icy depths.
