Seirei settled himself down in a corner of the large room, head leant against the wall, the heat gently warming his face. He smiled as he heard Tersias talking about their pups. He guessed they were actually kits, seeming as they were coming from Tersias, a fox, but he liked the phrase pups, it made him feel like a true father.

Kiba felt bad. He felt kinda like he was sick so he decided to leave. "I think I gotta go home guys. I'll try to catch up to you later." He teleported out of the dome area back to his home, leaving his friends behind.

Seirei looked up in surprise when Kiba suddenly vanished. "I wonder what could be the matter..." he spoke aloud to himself. "Mira, have you noticed that he has been acting a little strange lately? As if he is not being himself..."

"Yes, I have noticed something," replied Mira. "But don't ask me what, for I have not a clue as to what it could be." She looked around the shelter. "This place could really do with more floors," she murmured, half to herself.

Seirei decided that he had sat still for long enough. "Would you like any help with the upper floors Mira? I could make the water float in the air whilst you freeze it?" Seirei flicked out his wings hopefully.

Mira smiled at Seirei with appreciation. "Thanks Seirei, but I can handle floating water." Looking up at where she wanted to work, Mira sent a gush of water up from the ocean below the pod, and sent it to hover in a straight line above her head before freezing it. It took almost a minute, and it tired Mira slightly, but when it was frozen, it covered about three-quarters of the space. With another gush of water, Mira created a set of stairs leading up to the new level.
Pleased with her work, Mira trotted up the stairs to examine the new floor and to make sure it would stay stable. Once she was sure it would be okay, she covered the floor in a fine layer of snow so that nobody would slip around. For now, the pod would have to do - extra rooms and other bits could be added later. Yawning, Mira curled up on the floor for a quick nap to replenish her energy after creating the extra floor.
