Kiba scotted his chair a good bit closer to Nat, preferring her compant since she mostly agreed with him throughout the night. "Aww.. Alrighty then. So, what do you like to do Nat? What are your likes, your dislikes, your hopes, the things that make you... You."

Nat thought about it for a moment before answering. "Well..." she said slowly. "I enjoy stories, either telling them or listening to them. But crafting them is my favourite thing to do," she added with a smile.
"I hate cold weather, it just doesn't suit me... which is why I live in the desert, I suppose." She giggled slightly. "Other than that, I can't really think of much else to say. Though I do hope that peace comes to this land. Tialka deserves it."
She trailed off, vaguely remembering her meeting with Koatia. Quickly, she squashed it to the back of her mind, returning her attention to the dinner."

Shiro smiled a bit. "I understand that. Before books, many people told stories. Infact, telling stories became so important, a few religions were even based around the idea. They believed that the only way to have an afterlife, was to live on in stories told by others, so they would go and try and do great memorable things. I'm sure you have more than a few stories about exempliary furs."

Nat smiled sadly. "Most stories I know are family based. It's not something I want to share."
She thought for a moment. "Though if I can remember any of the other stories I was told, you are welcome to hear them."

Shiro nodded. "I would love to. But for now, I believe it is time to eat, before everything gets cold." Kiba nodded a bit in agreement, happy to get the two to stop talking and focus on something other than swapping stories.

Nat nodded as well, turning to her food. It was different from what she was used to, but she liked it.
Delicately, Nat ate with an air of politeness, not sure how relaxed she could be at this point in time. It was - after all - her first meeting with the amnesiac wolf.

Kiba ate in silence and soon finished, standing and starting to collect dishes. Shiro finished a little after, thoughts similar to Nat occuring to her. She wasn't familiar at all with what she is used to, maybe high polite dinners, or just a snatch and grab. So she imitated Nat's general behaviour in politeness to her guest.

Nat thanked Kiba as he took her plate after she had finished. She stretched slightly in her seat, her red fur rippling over her toned muscles lightly.
She smiled. "So what now?" she asked, wondering if there were more courses to be eaten or if some other activity would follow.

"Well.... There is always dessert, though I think it is time for one of three things, a lounge in the living room, leaving... Or maybe bed time, and I know you could go home, or stay here with Kiba. I leave the choice to you."

"I don't think I'm ready for bed just yet," she said, her red fur covering her blush as she glanced quickly at Kiba.
"Though I wouldn't say no to a lounging session." She smiled.

She smiled and started from the kitchen, leading back down the hall to the living room. "Come on then. Take your pick..." She said, coming into the room, a good sized glass table held up by a simple metal frame, the glass itself coming down to help support the legs. Around that was two couches, one larger than the other, and a plush chair, on the other side a bean-bag chair filled with small smooth river-pebbles. "I like my chair myself... But feel free to pick otherwise." She stated, moving over to the plush chair and sitting down, letting a sigh of relief and relaxation out. "Ah... That's nice."

Nat looked around her, taking in the room quietly. It was nicely furnished, she thought.
At Shiro's prompting, Nat went forward and chose the larger sofa, sitting back into the cushions.
"Wow," she commented. "Very comfy." she smiled.

Shiro smiles a bit, blushing as she said, "Thank you Nat. You wouldn't believe what Kiba thought was decent for greeting guests. A lot too formal for my tastes, so it took a while but I convinced him to put the new furniture in here. Took a bit of time and effort to may I tell you."

"I'm glad you managed it," said Nat, curling up gratefully in the large chair. She hadn't known anything quite so comfy since leaving home...
It saddened her to think of home, but she tried not to let it show in her face.

Shiro nodded herself and relaxed back into her chair. Kiba finally walking in. He sighed and slipped in next to Nat, murring and smiling. "Sorry for the wait you two."

"It's fine," replied Nat with a matching smile. She snuggled up to him, unafraid to show her affection.
It was a nice place here, it smelled comforting to her.

Kiba blushed for a momment, then snuggled up next to Nat, wrapping an arm around her and running his claws gently through the fur of her back and side. "So I see." He said, a low murr building in his throat. Shiro giggled softly, adding, "You two are a really cute couple."

Nat's face was almost on fire, she was blushing so much. Partly because of Shiro's comment, but mostly because of Kiba's claws tracing through her fur.
"Stop it," she half-whispered and half-whined, feeling slightly embarrassed.
