Kiba, with Seirei at his side, ran through the forest, the trees blurring past them as they ran, sniffing for the scent trail of his sister, Shiro. "Great day for a hunt isn't it?" he called out to his friend. The sun was high in the sky, lighting the forest through little patches in the foliage.

Seirei felt the thrill rush through him as they both sped through the forest, the occasional branch being blasted away by their pure strength as they pressed on, using their sharp eyes to avoid any obstacles such as trees roots or logs. The two wolves were in their element.
"Sure is!" he called back, not able to stop the grin widening on his face.
Any passer by would think that a miniature tornado had blown through the forest. All you could see were two blurs dodging in between tree trunk after tree trunk.
Seirei focussed his concentration as he sniffed the air, trying to catch a strange scent.

"Do you smell anything?" kiba inquired, the sound almost being lost in the wind in their ears. He loved when he hunted, it had been a long time, and even longer since he hunted in a pack, even a small one like ours. "She almost always smells of roses and blood, though the blood might be lost after such a long time." He called out. The two blurs kept speeding through the brush, Kiba jumped over Seirei having fun.

Seirei laughed at the contrast between the two scents. "Romanticly evil" he laughed to himself. He couldn't smell anything yet, though now and again he caught the trace of flowers, but he couldn't be certain that it was her.
"I smell some faint hint of flowers," he barked over the rush of wind, "but it could be mixed with the scents from the meadows and fields that surround the forest. If it is her, she knows how to conceal herself."

"She must have taken our search into her plans. Part of her game it seems. But that won't stop us, now will it?"

Seirei snarled happily, he liked a challenge. "Not a bit."
They pressed on. The forest was such a large expanse that no matter how fast they went, it never seemed to end. Seirei suddenly caught a strange scent, it was a strong smell of flowers, yet tinted with evil.
"Kiba!" Seirei signalled with his tail to the left and turned sharply to head in that direction.

He followed the sudden veer Seirei made and caught the scent as well. "That's her! Let's get her!" He growled happily. They ran towards the scent, though it was easy to say that she was prepared for us. I doged to the side as a tree fell almost on top of me. "Seirei, watch out, she has traps set up!"

Seirei dodged the falling tree just in time as the trunk swung down unexpectedly. He slowed down to a walk, then stopped altogether. "I think we should approach with caution from now on" he said quietly.

"Agreed. Stay together but space it apart. We can't be too close." He stepped forward and the ground fell out from under him. He grabbed the side of the pit, dangling above the spikes at the bottom. "Oh come on!" He yelled. He pulled himself up and filled in the pit with his powers. "Nice try. We should really be careful."

Seirei jumped as the ground fell beneath Kiba, and was relieved that he had managed to hang on.
"This sister of yours is crazy! But then again her traps are a little cliché."
Seirei separated himself from Kiba by about 15 feet. "Yh, let's press on with caution."
As they walked forwards slowly, a mysterious mist started hanging around the trees, until Seirei could not see a metre in front of him. He looked around, squinting his eyes, trying to find Kiba, but it was impossible.
"Kiba?!" he called out.

"Don't breath! Vent the mist up and away! Quickly!" He called out. She is crazy and her traps are more original than this usually.

Seirei didn't realise how intoxicating the mist was. He held his breath and with great beats of his wings, he attempted to blow the mist above the tree tops. He had to repeat this several times, as the mist kept on replacing itself, but eventually he cleared it enough so that the air down where they were was clear.
"We must hurry. It will no doubt reappear soon."

"No idea what that was, but I can bet it wasn't good for our health. Follow me." He started running and jumping on tree sides to keep off the ground.

Seirei followed Kiba, they drove deeper and deeper into the unknown.
I swear this forest wasn't this long...
He was panting now; they had been running for about an hour without rest. The mist was starting to clear away at a much faster pace, now. She must have realised her trickery was no use on us.As the path cleared ahead of them, Seirei spotted a clearing in the trees, where the sunlight shone down, revealing a minature meadow, and in the middle stood...
"Kiba...?" Seirei turned his head to look at his friend, wondering what they should do next, as an evil figure stood before them.

Kiba stopped quickly, small rocks and dirt flying into the air. Kiba watched the white furred wolf in the center of the clearing carefully. "That is her, be careful." He said, not even trying to hide his voice. He stepped out of the brush and stepped in front of his sister. "Hello there sis, Any chance that you might leave this planet alone?"
Shiro looked up from her meditation at the sound of her brother's voice. "And why should I give up? The game has only just begun after all..." She smiled a cold icy grin. "And I would like to play with you little brother, it has been a long time."
"Seirei, come here please." He motioned for Seirei to come in the clearing. "Shiro, Seirei, Seirei, Shiro. Now that that is out of the way, let's start round one."

Seirei stepped into the clearing cautiously, his eyes fixed on the icy ones of Shiro, full of playful malice. A growl started up in his chest, his body tensed as he spread his paws a little wider, claws digging into the ground to ready himself. His tail swished left and right menacingly, great sparks shooting out from the tip as a warning.
"How do you do?" he snarled, sarcastically. "Would you mind leaving my world, or do I have to force you?"

She smiled and laughed. "Why are you so agressive? After all I just want to play. My little brother was fun, but let's see how you do." She flashed forward and stabbed her sword at Seirei.
Kiba moved quickly and drew his own stopping the blade before it reached him. "Now big sister, play nice, he has no weapons, so let's play fair."
She smiled again and giggled. "Very well, Would want an unfair game."

Seirei was startled by her sudden movement, but didn't move, he had to stay focussed.
She's so fast!
He watched her carefully as she threw aside her sword, he'd have to keep an eye on this one, he had never fought someone like her before.
"Ladies first" he grinned.
