"How old were you when this game started?" asked Mira. She couldn't believe that a game could involve so much death. Her icy blue eyes showed her determination that she wasn't going to let Shiro win this time.

"The game started shorty after we turned seven I believe. That is when she went crazy and turned evil."

"That's horrible," exclaimed Mira. "Why did she go crazy, though?" Mira wanted to know as much as she could about her enemy.

Kiba looked down, a small tear falling down into the snow and ice. "A little after our parents died. They were killed right in front of us." He started to cry a little. "I just wanted to help others, she wanted revenge. That was the first step into her path of evil."

Mira stepped forward to comfort Kiba. "I'm sorry," she said quietly. There was nothing else she could say to him, for she hadn't been in that situation.

He wiped his eyes quickly. "It is ok. It happened a long time ago and you didn't do it. You have no need to apologise. Is there anything else you would like to know?"

She shook her head. "No, I don't want to press you any further. Thank you for what you've told me, though." Mira smiled at her friend. "I'd rather talk about more uplifting subjects."

"Well... I made a discovery a while ago, I've told no-one else but Hiruko and Seirei," she said. "There's a place we named Skalakruh - the Stone Circle - it's really intriguing. But I discovered something else linked; a Crystal Cavern." Her eyes were shining with excitement. "The three of us visited it, and took a crystal each - they were lying on the floor. After, we found Skalakruh. We looked around, and at the centrepiece there, the crystals glowed and changed colour!" She paused. "I'll show you soon, but first you must see the Caverns." She walked to the back of her cave, and beckoned Kiba to follow. "This way," she said, as she opened a secret passageway.

Kiba followed and thefirst thing that he noticed when he stepped through is that it was warm! He sent the blanket back to his home and looked at Mira. "How far does this tunnel go?" He looked down the tunnel that streched as far as he could see.

"Not too far," said Mira, walking along the tunnel. "This area is made from a hybrid of crystals and ice, and can be confusing if you know not how to navigate - which I do, so make sure you follow carefully." She led Kiba down the tunnel, and took a few seemingly random and odd turns, but they all led to a wonderful cavern that was filled with glittering crystals.

Kiba looked around in wonder. "It can't be what i think it is, can it?" He quickly picked up a fallen crystal and began to look it over, turning it and examining it. "Only one way to tell it seems. You said it transformed at this 'stone circle'? I would like to get there quickly if possible."

"What do you think it is, Kiba?" asked Mira, her eyes reflecting the glitters of the crystals. "And I will take you to Skalakruh after you explain, please." Mira loved this place, and she considered her its guardian.

"On my planet there are stones of similar quality. They fell from space, so if these are the same, they must come from the same source." He hoped that they were the same.

She shook her head. "No, there was never anything from space that fell here. Hiruko and I created these mountains, and we never had the intention of creating these, though." She shrugged. "We don't know where they came from."

"So it wouldn't hurt to check. Hiruko found this planet correct? So they could have fallen before he arrived."

"Unless they were embedded deep in the soil and didn't grow until after the mountains were snowed on, I don't see how they could have been here before he arrived. He knew the earth, and he never mentioned it to me," she stated. She was very baffled.

"Anyway, Shall we check it out?" He held up a crystal. "I would like to see it for myself."
