He turned back to Tersias. "He is safe. There is no lock really, so there is no key. It would take me or something of similar power to undo the field. I added to the defenses after your vison, so there should be no problem."

She smiled. "Excellent. And now to relax, now is a time to enjoy the peace while it lasts" Seeing Seirei, she laughed, "If you fall asleep there, you'll bake, silly" she grinned, bounding over to him. She curled up on his chest, being careful not to squish her tiny bump, and licked his nose.

Kiba smiled. They are still a cute couple.

Seirei made a soft "ooffph" sound as the wind was knocked out of his chest as Tersias leapt on top of him. He chuckled as she curled up on him.
"Come over and relax, Kiba," he smiled at his friend.

Kiba smiled and walked over. "And to think that I didn't even know you a month and a half ago..."

She giggled, "I'm sorry, I didn't realise I was heavy enough to knock the wind out of you. I am pretty small, after all" she grinned. She looked up at Kiba as he approached, "Hello again Mister Kiba. Come sit in the sun with us" she smiled. "The sun is naaaaaice" she grinned like a cheshire cat.

"I might as well." He said with a smile. He took the katana off and stuck the tip of the sheath into the sand. He laid back and just stared at the soft white clouds and they went by.
The gentle breeze ruffling his fur slightly and the warm sand relaxing his stiff muscles. "This really is nice." he said quietly. He relaxed and watched the clouds.

Seirei, too, felt the breeze blow through his fur, as if the wind was sighing with contentment. Seeming as he couldn't move with a fluffy white ball on his chest, he slid his wings to and fro across the sand, like when you make an angel in the snow.

"Sorry, you want me to move?" she smiled, and nimbly leapt off Seirei's chest. She licked his nose "So are you going to talk to me, Mister Silly, or are you going to be a big meanie and ignore me now I'm all fat and pregnant?" she giggled. There was a little playful glint in her eye; she sat playing with Seirei's tail as it flicked to and fro, as amused as a kitten with a ball of string.

Kiba couldn't help but smile as the sun warmed his fur. He felt the movement of a small crab as it moved across his back paws. He stretched and felt the coarse sand move beneath him.
He sighed and closed his eyes, the blue sky blocked out for a few momments.

Seirei laughed as Tersias played with his tail. He didn't admit it of course, but it tickled. He sat up slowly and started moulding sand with his front paws to start making a sandcastle.
"Wanna help?" he smiled at Tersias.

She giggled, "Sure" she smiled, attempting to sit up but overbalancing and falling on her face. She snorted with laughter "Oopsy doodles" she said in a sing song voice and attempted to sit up again, succeeding this time. "I blame you for me falling, Seirei. It's cos your cubs are too heavy" she laughed "Cos you're such a big lump" she licked his nose "But I loves you anyway." she smiled, rambling on in a cute, childish fashion. "What are you making?" she asked Seirei "I never seen one of them before. Is it a spaceship? No wait, an alien!" she giggled.

"You wanna have a competition?" Kiba asked with a smile. "And to keep it fair, I won't use my pendant." He sat up, shaking sand out of his fur as he did so.

Seirei's smile broadened as she spoke in her childish way. Even though she was now an adult, he loved the fact that her old self was still in there.
"You've never built a sandcastle before?" he was slightly amazed, but then realised that she hadn't the time when she was a child. "I always used to build them with my broth - family."
He showed her how he was carefully digging out a tunnel through the mound of sand.

Kiba looked at them. "So no competition then?" He said sadly. "I thought you might want to..."

Seirei looked up "I'm sorry, Kiba. I was busy telling Tersias something. Sure why not!" He started to make other small mounds of sand. "Tersias you can help if you like."

She giggled "That's a castle? I still think it looks more like an alien" she grinned, and nuzzled Seirei's neck with her head. She looked at him, her head tilted to one side "I guess from this angle it does kinda look like a castle" she smiled. She tilted her head the other way "But from here it looks like a donkey" she grinned. "Can we do stuff like this with the cubs when they're born? I want them to have lots of fun when they're little" she smiled "No worrying about anything, just fun"

Kiba smiled and got to work, piling wet sand to a rectangular shape. He made the outer walls and then the inner castle. Just for fun he added a little sand crab with a hat to the top of one tower.
